Quality Product.
Item comes very well packaged and protected, very clear and good instruction leaflet, couple of minutes to put together.Purchased this version as I like to keep the weight down, but obviously needs to do the job.Main control knobs very firm in the hand and need minimal turn to fix in place, base panning point very smooth for the wildlife pictures I take.Used on my Manfroto 290 carbon tripod, Nikon 7200 plus grip and fitted with a Sigma 150-600mm lens, as per instructions all fitted and balanced up in no time, very impressed so far with this item.Very confident this product will perform as the company offer plenty of back up information in the product leaflet if things need support., to me this shows confidence in the product by the company.

Like the Curate;s Egg - good in parts.
Like the Curate;s Egg - good in parts. Great price and nicely finished , though mine was a little greasy - nothing a cloth would not wipe off. However like another reviewer I found when the top (swing arm) knob was loosened the whole swing arm felt a little (too) loose in the top pivot? Perhaps something Movo might like to look at? Also the tension applied by each knob was either off or on without much adjust in too small a turn? All this said the is still a great price for a carbon gimbal but my my caveats. I sent mine back as I feel the two issues need some addressing. I hope Movo take notice and do a little tweaking as they could make this a big seller. I will report back if that is the case.

Looks good but has /built in design flaw.
When you unpack this Professional Gimbal it looks and feels of quality. The base is large and sits in the tripod soundly and rotates smoothly, the lock works well and holds the gimbal firm. However this is where it all goes wrong. The upper mechanism when loosened by the knob is extremely wobbly through the housing from the knob to the camera mount. This means when to rotate the camera up and down you need to loosen the knob which then causes the camera to sag, so if you have set you horizontal plane it is no longer correct. For this part not to sag or wobble you have to tighten the knob which stops the movement. I use the gimbal for motor sport so locking the gimbal isn’t a option. I also use it for rotational multiple exposers and this has no accuracy for a centre point. I don’t think this moving part sound be sloppy as it is as the the gimbal is unusable.I contacted the company who said send it back, get a refund and order a replacement which I did. Today I received the replacement and exactly the same issue is present. I will send it back once again for a full refund and seek another brand as this seems to be a design issue.

Great if for a few problems
Lets see if this gets posted by Amazon. In its self-great not too heavy, bottom pivot works well, up and down slide fine as you set this once, Acra Swiss clamp nice with the stops on the plate. but the big and main problem is the pivot it feels a bit oval if you rotate it through 360 deg it goes from stiff to loose.if clamp nob is turned all the way out there is about 5mm up down play at the Arca Swiss plate. I tried direct contact with Movo but to date no reply. If this is not posted I will use other media to make people aware

Busy Birder
Brilliant, does what it says on the box .. I’m shooting with, Nikon 200-500 or sigma 150-600, mounted on a monopod. Swapped out Fluid video head for my GH800 and find it more manageable with the tilt slackened off over my shoulder whilst on foot. Very well balanced and versitile when used on my tripod it’s sturdy robust and well built. There are obviously (in my opinion) other over engineered products out there with an added agender of extracting more money off you to do the same job. With this in mind the GH800 is great value for money Why spend more ???

Sticky Start
I wanted to give this a 4/5 star rating, as it's built well and provides a reasonably smooth platform for my Sigma 150-600 Telephoto lens. The combined weight, makes this a heavy combination to carry around but it does the job very well. The only reason I'm giving this a three star rating is that when it arrived the tilt arm was extremely stiff, and only became usable after I had gone out and purchased some Silicon lubricant to get the arm moving properly. I contacted MOVO support for some guidance who belatedly suggested what I had already done myself....

Brilliant.
A fantastic piece of kit. Very well made and significantly lighter than the one it's replaced. Easily handles my Canon eos1dx + 500 f4.If you're in the market for a top quality gimble at a very reasonable price this is one you should seriously consider.

Does the job
I was surprised at how large it was but it is light, easy to move and sturdy. I am pleased with it although I haven't used it much but for the price it seems really good value. Time will tell how well built it is but for the moment I am very happy.
