After a couple of years the natural flaw became a split
Lovely size and soundGood price at the timeI noticing it had a natural flaw in the skin but trusted the makers judgment.One year later it became a two inch split, oddly enough the drum still played but I wouldn’t use it as often.

A good hand drum
It is a drum, a hand held drum, held in one hand, played by the other. Really good for people with two hands that enjoy hand held drums. It has a Scottish name but was made in one of the countries that ends with 'stan'. Makes a good sound when played with hands or the little stick that fortuitously came with it. When using your hands this hand drum makes a great hand drum sound and your hand can be used to muffle the sound of the hand drum allowing the user to create different sounds on the hand drum with their hands. Please note the Importance of hands in the use of this hand drum.

Great Bodhran for learning to play
Great Bodhran for learning to play. Comfortable and has a good sound, very good value for money. Can't wait till I'm actually good... eventually. I would recommend this to anyone starting out on the bodhran.

Lovely drum with a beautiful sound
This is a lovely piece of kit for anyone who enjoys playing percussion. The sound is fab and resonant with a lot of reliable variety in pitch and tone. Good price, too. I recommend it highly.
