The listing leads the viewer to belive that adjusting the grind coarseness is based on presets, but like the two other grinders I own, a bottom dial grind settings leads to a trial and error and a guessing game.The ground coffee receptacle is made of glass. Although the glass is thick, I’d fear breaking with an accidental drop or other traumatic impact. Further degrading the use of the grinder is screwing the glass receptacle on and off is not smooth, and takes some fussing with, often requiring partial installation and removal to get the threads to mate.The bean receptacle is also smaller than others I have. This unit holds a maximum of about 22 grams of whole beans; the others I have accommodate significantly more.The grinding process itself is smooth and quick, however, and the coffee I did make - with much more effort than seems appropriate (capacity/re-threading the receptacle on and off) was good, but that has more to do with bean quality and freshness than the grinder itself. From a person that hand grinds coffee in a manual, hand conical grinder, it's one I wouldn't recommend.
