Great taste and good value!
When you consider how much a small packet of these cough sweets cost they are fantastic value for money.They taste great and do the trick when you have an irritating tickle. The plastic jar is well sealed and keeps these in perfect condition for whenever they're needed.

Best tasting sweets ever, but pricey.
These are great. I have a very dry mouth and I find sucking one of these helps produce lots of saliva.However the price of a jar has gone from £18 for the first purchase, to 2 jars for £39 and now £60 !!! Outrageous price hike in 2 years and I don’t see the justification for it.I’ve noticed also that the jar has no plastic or paper seal under the lid, not sure if this is correct or if someone has been removing a few before being posted out.I will still buy them but not at £60 a jar. Will have to buy the 100gm packets instead, because I’m addicted to them, but only this flavour.

Great value WHEN the price is right!!!
I'd previously been buying these in the boxes of ten 100g packets in the original packaging for around £5-£6 a box, but then the price suddenly doubled and kept rising, to the point where I stopped buying them!Then came new packaging; smaller quantities and higher prices - but during a cost of living crisis, something had to give!I looked at the price of this jar and it might be a bigger initial outlay but it is worth it WHEN the price is right!I ordered this 2.75kg jar for £19.99 and received it the next day, but last week this same jar was listed as £31.99 - I couldn't justify spending that much so I was so relieved when the price went down!***** I recommend keeping an eye on the price because it goes up and down more often than an elevator!!!So to recap, as of 22nd-23rd of April 2023, this 2.75kg jar cost me £19.99. It contained approximately 418 lozenges, so that definitely works out as much better value than the smaller newly packaged bags.These really help soothe my throat and help get rid of annoying tickly coughs, without aggravating my asthma - so I'm hoping they'll be the same good value when I buy another jar in the future!

Great value BUT not sealed - is content missing on tampered with?
At £19.99 for 2.75 Kg net these tubs should be great value compared to the small packets.They come in a nice plastic container, which is great for storage, HOWEVER... the tubs are not sealed at all and arrived with the lids off, some sweets spread in the box and the box was broken...The sweets did fill the two tubs I ordered, but not to the brim. I weighed the sweets and the content, including the wrappers, was 3.05 Kg. Do the wrappers for 2.75 Kg of sweets weigh 40 g?I have no way of knowing.Worse still, I have no way of knowing if the sweets were tampered with. We have chosen to trust Amazon and kept the sweets - judging by several other reviews, this is how this product has been delivered for quite some time.So order these at your own risk. Ideally Amazon should feedback to the manufacturers that these tubs need to be sealed for delivery to their customers, but as of late November 2023, they are not.Other than that, the sweets are the usual gorgeous aniseed flavoured Jakemans.
