Q: Once hung do i have to keep unscrewing it and tkaing it down just to charge it again??

No, it has the battery as a piece that slides off, just make sure not to install it upside and you can easily remove the semi-circle piece to charge

Q: How do you charge it? Do you have to deattach it from the wall?

To charge, simply slide the rechargeable module off (the upper portion of the black circle). The shelf remains mounted to the wall.

Q: Can I remove the screws completely? I have super strong double-sided tape; I'd like to use.

Yes. you should be able to remove the screws if you don't want to use them.
