Panasonic AA Zinc Carbon Single Use Batteries 4 pack (Package may vary)

I bought these for a wall clock which said I needed zinc carbon batteries. I also used them for an alarm clock. They were at a very low price, but still lasted a long time. I've no complaints to make about this item or its seller. On the contrary, I recommend them! Thanks!

Didn’t realise that I had been using the wrong battery in my clock until it needed replacing, once replaced with correct battery it works a treat and keeps good time.

When they say low power they really mean low power. I assumed that they just meant since they are 1.5v they are typically only used for fairly low power requirements. I normally used alkaline AA's in a small portable shaver and when they are new they always power it strongly and the power weakens as they drain. These batteries when brand new operated like alkalines when mostly drained, they powered my shaver so poorly. I'm sure for a remote or something like that, they would be fine (they are nice and light) but for anything outside of that, they are pretty useless.

We have six electric clocks in our house and all the clock manufacturers recommended we use zinc carbon not alkaline batteries. We've found these batteries last last 4-5 months in our clocks. When we bought these we paid £2.60 for a pack of four and thought that a good price, but now that we're having to rebuy we've found cheaper. At the time of writing we found 4+4 or 6+2 packs (8 batteries total) of the same battery for £2.60 on Amazon, so do search the listings. Pricewise we haven't seen cheaper than these Panasonics. These aren't alkaline or lithium batteries so assume that a life span of 4-5 months in a clock is typical for zinc carbon batteries. Happy!
