A huge hit!
I gave Outfoxed to my 5 year old nephew for Christmas. It is a hit with him and his brothers and sisters. He wants to play each time we visit. For his younger sister, we are able to adjust the rules a little bit without it changing the game. We love the fact that it is a cooperative game- we all win or lose against the game itself. This allows for teamwork, discussion about strategy, and a change from the common I win/you lose game. The game Sleeping Queens went to my 8 year old niece for Christmas. Also a big hit with the whole family. The kids each have their favorite queens which they try to find/keep and they have come up with several strategies to help them try to win... with varying degrees of success. The mathematical aspect of the game (you can trade in cards that create a sum, ie 3, 2 and 5, to collect three new cards) is beyond the kids under 7 or 8 but it is not detrimental to the game- it just means that the younger children are not able to be as efficient with their collection of cards. Overall a great purchase!
