I purchased these to put in the jars with my homemade paprika and ground up hot pepper powder. They are food grade so that is good. However, I thought they might help keep the powders from clumping, but they do not. I would say if I ever decided to purchase this product again I would get a larger size as these are about the size of a postage stamp so maybe are too small for my intended purpose.

I bought these to put in my daughter’s vitamins. Her melatonin would constantly get wet and goopy outside of the original bottle it came in. Now, when we sort her vitamins for the week, I put one of these silica in it, and it helps tremendously. It doesn’t take up a lot of space so that’s nice. I would definitely say they’re easy to use and they’re a good bang for your buck.

Purchased for medicine containers, have two different compound prescriptions and it keeps them from getting any moisture!

I’ve dehydrated several fruits and veggies and placed them into quart bags and quart jars.Because we live in the northwest, I also like to throw two or three of these packets in there to keep humidity low.These are the perfect size and work well. They’re food grade and arrive in a tightly sealed bag so they are ready to go when they arrive.The bag is resealable so make sure to seal it up tight.If for any reason they get saturated by ambient humidity, or you want to recharge them for re-use by using your oven, you can find instructions on the internet on how to do that.If like me, you have a dehydrator,.. I just place them loosely on one of the dehydrator racks and leave them in there for a day,.. while I dehydrate other fruits and veggies as usual.You can pretty much recharge silica packs like that indefinitely. Unless you give them away with jars or bags of fruit.If you do, just come back to Amazon for a refill.These are just about the right size for two to a quart sized package of fruits, veggies or jerky.

I bought these silica gel sachets exclusively for use when making beef jerky for my son. Less than two hours to dehydrate in my chefman air fryer (the strips of marinated meat). Pop the strips into a food bag an add a sealed sachet of the silica gel and seal the container. Any excess moisture will be absorbed by the sachet keeping the jerky nice and firm. I really liked the fact that when I was looking on Amazon for some sachets to buy the advert sold itself to me. Not only a comprehensive list telling you the exact number of sachets required for the volume of the area you need, but also evidence of scientific tests proving that this product is perfectly safe for use with food products. A wonderful product at a perfect price from an obviously reputable company, I shall certainly be purchasing these again.
