Both my teenage boys love this product. They say they can feel a difference when they remember to take them and it does seem to help their skin with mild acne. The pills are large but we initially cut them in 1/4's and they went down pretty well , now they just swallow them whole.

My teen girls are vegetarian but also eat very little dairy. It’s been hard finding a vitamin that has a higher amount of iron and calcium. We tried another brand but my oldest kept complaining of headaches so we switched back to these. If your kids have issues with bigger pills (mine don’t) I suggest buying the minis. I don’t think they are that big - standard multivitamin size. When we get blood work again next year I can update as far as if they are all good on their vitamin levels - mainly iron and vitamin D (my 13 year old was low (not deficient) and that was before they went vegan/vegetarian). I’m interested to see if her D levels will be higher. Be aware they have an earthy taste as most vitamins do - my girls jokingly call them “dirt pills” but take them with OJ and that takes the taste away - extra vitamin C also helps with iron absorption so it’s a win win. :)

Doesn’t upset stomach-helps teens get proper vits/mins
This prospect works well. It does NOT upset my daughter’s stomach the way other vitamins have. The pills are pretty large. Also I don’t like that she has to take 3 for a single dosage. It’s hard enough getting one in at breakfast with a teen. This has really helped my teen’s acne when she takes it regularly. I thought it was a good value when I bought it but didn’t realize it told 3 pills to equal one dose.

Large pills that taste/smell awful.
Bought these for my 14 year old and he refused to take them after day one. They are quite large and taste/smell awful. He actually gagged, which is very uncharacteristic when he takes vitamins. Not the right option for him.

Yea, yea, its a big vitamin!
My daughter has been taking for about 2 weeks now, we both have noticed changes with her acne. Breakouts are starting to clear up and fewer new ones are appearing. My daughter has been fighting a bad case of acne for over a year and Ive spent hundreds of dollars buying products and on skin care consultations, this is the best thing we've found that actually works for her. Yea It's big and yea it doesn't taste the best, but you can cut the pills in half and the taste is doesnt last longer than five minutes. I wish I would've found this product a year ag0, it would have saved not only money but also a lot of tears for a teenage girl.

Helps with skin issues!
This product has helped my 17 year old daughter’s skin! She has been taking it for a year. I know and trust that she’s getting plant based nutrients that she might be missing because, well she’s a teen sometimes doesn’t eat all her veggies and fruits. She’s an athlete too. She takes the product everyday.

I should've listened
I got these for my teen sons and especially because one deals with acne. However, we'll never know if it works because they both said the taste is so awful. They also had trouble swallowing such a large pill. We split it in half, which only made the taste worse. Now, I know there were other reviews that complained about the taste too. I was hoping my boys would be able to "get through it". No such luck. I tried one, just to see how bad it was, I didn't notice anything, no bad taste or after taste. With the exception of the size of the pill. Like a horse pill. It didn't smell great though. I don't know if I got lucky or what. No, I wouldn't buy again.

Works
We've tried a few vitamin brands and 17yo daughter wasn't happy with any except some gummies. When pandemic hit these where the only available, despite being a bit higher priced. We tried and dd says they're the only vitamins that "work" for her. She says there's a noticeable difference in her skin and energy levels. the difficulty is it seems the company doesn't always have these in stock and they are not available for subscribe and save. Hopefully they work it out. Otherwise, we have to sometimes alternate with the Active Teen vitamin. As far as taste and size, she says these are the only ones she can swallow. They go down easy and she doesn't notice the taste (don't chew them). For those who have a hard time with the size, try blending in a smoothie.

Good product, my 14 year old son takes them ...
Good product, my 14 year old son takes them at demanding times, and doesn't have a problem swallowing them as with some other brands. I like that they are designed specifically for either teenage girls or boys.
