Vintage Women 1950s Rockabilly Swing Dress Pinup 50s Retro Hepburn Style Halterneck A-Line Dresses

Simple, flattering, well made dress, size is correct silky artificial fabric is heavy enough you don't need a slip but the shape is best with a crynolyn. I hope the laborers who made these are soon freed.

This dress is adorable! It has a side zip for easy on and off. It has a satin corset lace up back, to help with the fit. The only fake complaint I have, is the satin belt. It’s a piece of ribbon and it doesn’t stay in place. The dress is comfortable, flattering, and a great fit.

Almost gave myself a heart attack this morning when I attempted to try this dress on. I was stuck! Like stuck stuck! I was about to have a heart attack and this polyester blend was gonna be the last thing I wore. My last phrase was gonna be, "Well.... I tried to put it on.... but got stuck..."Let me start at the beginning by saying that I have bought several other dresses similar to this black and white small dotted dress. The other dresses were more of a cotton blend and the xl size fits me. This one has more of a smooth polyester material. The appearance is okay, but not as pretty as the other cottony dresses.If you are a bigger chested girl, do NOT try this dress on. I repeat! Do NOT try this dress on. Not even if you order the xxl. That extra X is a total lie! Or maybe it snuck on there, because this is NOT an xxl dress. For reference I am about a 41 in the chest area. So, the sizing chart is a total lie. Lord help the women who are bigger than a 41 and try to fit into this dress.As I said, I almost got stuck, yo! It was fine in the hips and waist, but definitely NOT in the chest. My girls were threatening to pop on out of there like torpedoes... probably would have taken someone's eye out! Thankfully, I was alone in the bedroom.I kept telling myself, "Don't panic! Don't panic!.... You are panicking! Knock it off! It's gonna be okay! Try to suck them in!" You can't really suck your girls in, though. You can push em up and out with the pop and snap action (like in legally blonde), but once they are stuck in a confined space, there isn't much you can do.There is ZERO elasticity. The value for the money is not there. There is a zipper on the side, but the material is sewn together right above the zipper. I would suggest buying one of the cotton dresses if you are bigger in the chest. Have a wonderful day, yo!

The back is pleaded and stretches. But it bunches in the back because the dress is too big. I ordered a small. I wear a 34 D and I weigh 115. It’s too big.Also the dress does not have a crinoline underneath. So it’s doesn’t have this beautiful look like in the picture. The material feels like my work out pants-spandex feeling. Super disappointed. But it will have to do. I’m event is soon.

This dress exceeded my expectations for the cost. Things to note:I bought a Medium.I am 5’7” tall. I weight 135lbs. I am 35 inches across the bust. (this is important for the fit.)It is thin/lightweight material.I hemmed it 5 inches shorter.I AM wearing a “Kumeng Women’s 50’s vintage tulle petticoat half slip. 27” underneath that I also hemmed.The black satin ribbon around the waist came with it.There is a zipper on the side of the bust but it is pointless as it doesn’t zip all the to the top of the dress to allow the dress to completely open. This is why I mentioned my bust measurements above. You have to be small enough to slip it over your head and chest and wiggle it down. It was kinda snug to do this but once on it fits well. I personally could not have stepped in to it and pulled it up as my hips are too wide.There is a lace up corset-like part on the back that did nothing extra for me. Could be useful if the dress was a tad too big for someone.The halter tie comes loose easily so I tied a knot then a bow.I added the half sweater/hoodie (size Large). Bought that at Walmart for $17 from the Jr’s department.I gave this 4 stars vs 5 as I did have to hem it 5 inches and because of the zipper. But is very figure flattering for those with a bit of an hourglass figure.

Great fit, definitely for small/ medium bust women. Not very stretchy but I didn’t want it to be. Very flattering. I wore for Halloween but will get my moneys worth by wearing for summer.

THE DRESS WAS NOT TRUE TO SIZE. THEY WERE REALLY CUTE AND MADE WELL

The side zipper doesn't open up all of the way so when I got into the dress I had to put in one boob at time, I have large breasts so I was worried this wouldn't fit from the reviews that I read and when I saw the side zipper, I was even more worried, but it all worked out.I wear a medium and I bought a large and it fits wonderful, I am waiting on my Tuttle petticoat so that is why I haven't submitted any pictures but later if I am able to update this review.
