Would this be suitable for sticking a covering to a leather arm chair?

I bought this to hold fabric covered cushions onto plastic rattan garden furniture but, unfortunately, it didn't stick very well to the fabric cushion covers. I think that it would work OK on leather but whether it would work for you depends on what your covers are made from. I have still kept mine as it will come in useful in the future. Sorry I can't be more helpful.

Is it suitable for fabric?

This product works best on fabric that is smooth. It doesnt stick well to coarse-textured fabric but if your cover is smooth fabric it might work.
