I have two Chi's that are absolutely thriving on barking heads food. I've never seen their coats so silky and shiny and they are full of beans. The duck kibble is a bit bigger than the turkey version but they have no problem eating them. No idea why another reviewers chi has issues eating it as it's not that big and hard. My two have eaten much bigger, harder kibble of other brands in the past.Not had a problem with kibble going rotten either, just roll the bag down and put in air tight container.I highly recommend this food. I've tried orijen, acana, millies, well the dogs have, not me and this is far better than any of those for my two. I can really see the difference in many ways.My only slight niggle if I'm being picky is I'd like to see a bit more meat and a little less sweet potato. By the time the moisture is taken out of the fresh duck the overall meat content is lower than they're making it out to be, most likely around 30% meat not 50%, a bit naughty of them to mislead in this way, therefore the price is a little higher than it should be. Saying that, it's still a very good food, no dubious by-products, derivatives or artifical colours etc and is obviously suits my two who have sensitive tums and various allergies. I'm rotating through all their variations every two two months to try and avoid them becoming allergic to anything else.The best food is not necessarily the top five star, expensive bag price foods as I found out with my two who were quite ill on them but what suits your individual dog(s). This is is far better than any supermarket/pet store brands such as the toxic waste in a bag that passes itself off as dog food, such as Bakers/Pedigree and definitely worth a try.

Although I have not noticed weight loss,in the 3 weeks I have been using it, my dogs seem more alert and their demeanour has changed for the better, they seem happier and my older dog (14) who has bad arthritis this seems to be helping him, coats are shining, ive not been using it long enough to see weight loss but hopefully next month, I have ordered another 12 kg bag, it is very expensive that’s the only down side.but there’s no rubbish or fillers in it and they love it. I will update this next month hopefully with some weight loss. My Labrador is 44kg and 10 years old so there’s work ahead but I’m hopeful with fat dog slim.

Our working cocker spaniel isn't fussy about her food, she's a happy active healthy cocker. We've tried a few brands and she absolutely loves Barking Heads Lamb.

Hola! Mi perra, una mestiza de pitbull de unos 9 años más o menos, que come todo, y cuando digo todo, es todo! Hasta lo q no debería! Pues ha resultado que no le gusta, le echo aceite o intento complementarle un poco el sabor, y nada, tengo q cogerle otra comida .. lo peor es q había comprado 2 sacos! 😅 Tenía muy buena pinta, y lo había comprado con todas mis espectativas, espero ser la excepción. Los ingredientes están bastante bien. Mi perro se lo come de maravilla y sus heces son correctas. El cambio poco a poco le ha sentado genial.
