it looks SO cute on my yorkie-manchester terrier mix. my dog weighs 17.8 lbs and the medium size fits her well, although she is the kind of dog with a prominent ribcage and a very little belly.the only complaint i can make it that the costume really doesn't stay up like it does in the picture, it flops down over her head a little, and i can actually put it on her like a hood...but she really doesn't like that. it looks okay without the top part sticking up, it just kind of lays flat on her head, or goes to one side or the other.

I bought a medium for my dog that's 12 lbs and it was way too big on him. It only costs two dollars so I didn't return it but make sure you order a size down.
