I have used this exact same grade of steel wool from another brand and it worked well. This worked ok as it seemed not to take the water spots off my car windshield like others I have tried as quickly. It does work but just not as quick. Overall so so product.

All of my previous steel wool purchases were thick puffy pads. They worked well but there ended up being a lot of waste. Having steel wool in roll form seems much more practical.

This spool of steel wool is very soft and very fine for a more delicate polishing and abrasion than a regular steel wool scouring pad. it cuts easily with a pair of shears, and cleans glass beautifully without scratching. Also removed grease and burns from pots and pans and gets marks off any surface that may be too tough for sponge scrubbers or Mr. Clean pads but you are concerned about scratching. Stuffs well into cracks and crevices to keep out pests and resists rust as long as its dry. Great to have on hand for more delicate scouring jobs.

This is good quality quad-aught (0000) super-fine steel wool. This grade is good for polishing metals, wood finishes, and just about anything else that needs polishing. I like it, but honestly, steel wool is pretty much a commodity item and there is not a lot to distinguish between offerings. This roll is different from the typical pad in that it's a continuous thin pad 2.5 inches wide and 10 feet long, so you can easily cut off just as much as you need for a given job, but the steel wool itself is pretty much like any other steel wool of this grade. Also, it's not really a huge amount of steel wool. The package dimensions are 6"x3.5"x2.5" and the gross weight of the package - plastic, cardboard, and steel wool - is 3.75 ounces. The price for a single roll is definitely high; the two-pack is a much better value.

Grade is correct, unlike other off-brand products I've bought that have been way off what they claimed to be. Tears easily, but isn't prone to immediately shedding and breaking apart in chunks. Been using it quite happily in place of my usual box store brand and have had no complaints.
