Then! I remembered it's Perry Marshall! He has taken all the fluff out and left just the good stuff, the stuff that is truly life changing for me to read, apply and grow myself.I love that. DIRECT and DISTILLED! Whoo Hoo!It is a treasure map with HOW TO instructions.I'm a life long book reader and personal growth enthusiast. Personal success in all my 35 years of building/owning various businesses was built on the foundation of learning from others, to shorten my learning curve, them adding value and new thinking from great thought leaders.I met Perry in Orlando a few years ago at a small event, a day mastermind, having just discovered his 80/20 book and website by clicking on a blog about a pink-koolaid drinker.OMG! If you are serious about learning how to be in business, this book should be on your desk. Spend 30 minutes daily reading, thinking, exploring in the direction it takes you. This book has seven steps -- not seven simplistic actions you can do shallowly, but seven aspects of the comprehensive shift in worldview that being an entrepreneur entails. Some of the material comes from contemplative practices and some from an investor who is a near self-made billionaire. It all applies, whether you are starting a small business from your bedroom or have monster tech skills. The co-authors have achieved what they teach, generating tens of millions of dollars and more for themselves and their clients. Even more, each has created a meaningful and rich life through their business activities. It's an MBA in 36 colorful pages for under $10.00 -- hard to beat that! You'll be hooked -- and there are plenty of links to further material if you want to take things even deeper.

I purchased the book in hardcopy which is the only format it is offered in. I rarely read hardcopy anymore... it took me over a month to pick the book up... but when I did... it was a quick read. At $10 and 36 pages one would ask the obvious question -- is it worth it. Yes. I purchased an additional book and sent another copy to one of my former students who wrote a similar book.The only thing I did not like was the up-sell to other services.

As a 70+ female who played a major role in launching the residential organizing industry 40+ years ago to eliminate physical clutter, it thrilled me to read this book! It is definitely not your typical business book, but it is one you will want to read over and over if you are an entrepreneur who wants to make an impact in the world. Today my company trains productivity consultants to help businesses eliminate “systems clutter,” which prevents employees from accomplishing their work and enjoying their lives. This book will become a key resource. The stories he tells about himself and his clients make the concepts he teaches come alive.

Perry Marshall is the type of teacher you can count on to give it to you straight (not one of the majority of gurus who claim to have the 'Easy Button') . The book - - along with incredible insights he's accumulated helping thousands of entrepreneurs & small business owners. The book is SHORT (think magazine) - Concise - and offers incredible wisdom. Buy it and save yourself self decades of trail and error.

Thanks to Perry for distilling business success down to the essentials. This is a refreshing read. And it continues to enlighten, even after multiple readings. This is how one knows its good! Get it, read it, re-read it every month, you'll be surprised how it never gets boring, only more revealing!

What a brilliant book. Full of practical help

Perry Marshall is not only one of the great business thinkers of our time, he's also one of the greatest synthesizers of information. He has that rare gift of sifting, sorting, and presenting information that we all think we know, and delivering it in a way that makes you think and engage in new ways. Very awesome!

Perry is a great author and marketing expert. I have read his other books and like them very. However, this graphics based short book didn't really impressed me much. Nothing new, just a few pages summary of his 80/20 book.

I'm so tired of 300-400 page books that can be summed up in a few pages. I feel like this was the antithesis of that.As long as it needs to be and no longer. The principles here are clearly laid out (in a graphically pleasing way too). Of course, any of these topics COULD be fleshed out, but you can go look that up if you want to and do your own further reading.I've been really into the whole "addition by subtraction" concept lately, so this book was a great primer for 80/20-ing your business.

Anything from Perry is original.This book is no different.You'll find insights.Plus, this book is organized and presented like no other.You will refer to it again and again from time to time.Get it.You are in for a treat.
