I have never owned any kind of boxing equipment other than free gloves I got at a gym I tried one day a few years ago. In fact the only experience I have had with boxing was from that class years ago. From this point of view this is a great piece of equipment to start out with. It allowed me to practice in my own home and get comfortable with throwing punches and practice moving around without being self conscious. The equipment is definitely cheap, but it’s good to start out with and see if this is something you want to do. After a few weeks however I decided my next step is to get a much better version of this one. If you just want to try it out without spending hundreds of dollars on a quality cobra bag this is a good option; however if you decide you like it, this would definitely end up being a piece of equipment that will need to be upgraded. It’s not tall enough for me and I’m only 5 foot 6 inches. It’s doable, but I would definitely want something with the option to go higher. It can’t take power punches or kicks without falling over, so once you get into a groove you have to really control your power output or else you’ll be picking it up again after every combo. It’s good for light practice for the first month or so of training and then in order to progress you will definitely need something nicer. But for $60 I think it’s well worth it to discover my new passion. I will be donating this one after I upgrade. The gloves it came with are trash compared to the ones I already had, but were better than nothing until I dug mine out of storage because hitting the wrong part of the equipment with bare hands can be a little painful. 😅

Worth every penny.

This thing broke almost immediately. I bought it for my 10 year old, granted he’s stronger than an average 10 year old but this is marketed for adults, so I thought it would suffice. I was wrong.

I absolutely love having this thing in the house, great way to work up a sweat and work on reflexes. But speed and reflex is more important than straight up brawn when using this. After 2-3 weeks of consistent use I managed to tear the bag and where it connects to the stand. I imagine they sell replacement bags but it's just a matter of time I believe before they fall apart with use.

The instructions don't say what to do or where exactly to place all the washers and locking washers(i think you call it). I had a large washer leftover.. not sure if they just give you extra or its supposed to go somewhere. There's also a nut that came with pieces that im not sure what to do with either. I did fill it up with sand and its nice and solid. Base doesnt move from floor.. Thats the one good thing

This is not like a free hanging speed-ball or a ground to ceiling ball but for the money; you can't do wrong. Unless you're 6'8" and 300+ lbs this is fine for a good couple of rounds workout. Fill the base with sand though not the recommended water. A good whack will still lift the base up but it won't go anywhere or fall. Good fun, too.

This was a Christmas gift and the picture was in the front of the box now my son knows except what his Christmas gift is!! This is very disappointing!!!

My favorite purchase during quarantine! Solid product, great for stress relief - especially during these times. My oldest son loves to beat up his brothers. This is perfect and gives his brothers a break from getting beat up all the time. Took him a little bit to understand he needs both feet on the platform. It was definitely a hit! Good quality punching ball and gloves.

The media could not be loaded.  Bought this to relieve a bit of stress and keep fit while at home, easy to assemble and suspension spring at the bottom is amazing, filled the base with sand rather than water although was a bit tedious to do so as sand had got wet and the opening was small but didn’t tip over. I used my own boxing gloves as the ones this came with were too soft, definitely gives you a full body workout but so much fun

It was cool for a little while, but after a week of about 5-10 minutes of punching a day, the pole kept slipping out from the middle part, and eventually the screw holding it in scraped away enough metal around the little indent, that I had to change where it was adjusted, because any punch would fling it off. I don't know why instead of a small indent, the screw doesn't just go right through the pole. That would fix that problem right off.The screw for the ball also kept spinning upon every single punch, making it so you need to tighten it back on every 10 seconds. And on top of that, the screw for the ball has now been worn down entirely, so the ball no longer stays on; it just slides into the top and slides straight out.

Cheap and easy to put together but it is quite flimsy. Evidenced by how it can't withstand the force of my immense power.

The media could not be loaded.  Come in a lightweight package that can be carried around easily. Easy to assemble, only took me about 5 minutes to put it all together, and 10 mins to fill the water. come with an air pumper for the bag, very thoughtful. The cloves are not that important I've got my own. It bounces back nicely just like how it should be. Perfect size for a home gym, awesome way to de-stress.

Definitely recommend sand filling the base as the plug leaks, the gloves are terrible the stuffing isn't spread evenly mostly on the back of the hand and finger tips, and they have started splitting in several places after 5/6 sessions. The bag itself seems better but I don't hold too much hope after the gloves. Also having to constantly stop to tighten the bag to stand as it just screw on any contact in the opposite direction unscrews it. You'll need to buy sand & new gloves if you can afford it id look for something higher quality. The stand, spring and base are all decent seem sturdy enough, obviously will go over if it with force but that's to be expected
