We thoroughly enjoyed this one! There's not a lot of raving reviews for Estrella Drive which surprises me because in terms of story (not puzzles) it felt most similar to Asylum which a lot of people loved. Yes, it is a dark storyline, especially as it is based on a real historical event. Is the Mature Audience label on the box needed? Probably. There isn't a lot of violence but when there is it is much more graphic and in your face than previous expansions. Maybe it 'feels' more real in this game - it certainly is a bit creepy. There is one card with some nudity on but it really isn't a big deal. Drugs feature pretty heavily so perhaps that is the main reason for the label. The Time Stories base game recommends players be from 10 years of age and I certainly wouldn't want to play it with a 10 year old. But I would imagine that these days most 15/16 year olds have played video games with just as much violence in, and they would almost certainly have been taught about drugs and their consequences. Ultimately, you are going to have to make your own judgements about whether this is right for the people you play with based on their own maturity and personality. I have been replaying some of the older scenarios with my 14 year old sister, but I would be hesitant to play this one with her just yet.I think the big thing to recognise for fans of the series is that due to the Mature Audiences only label, the designers expect that not everyone who plays Time Stories will play this expansion. As such, Estrella Drive brings nothing major or extra to the series in order to avoid younger audiences missing out, and this makes sense. I've therefore seen some people refer to this as a being a 'filler' scenario, and I suppose that they are not wrong. It is not as grandiose as say Lumen Fidei or Prophecy of Dragons, and it certainly continues the recent trend of become slightly more linear in play. But I personally don't see Estrella Drive being a 'filler' episode as a negative thing, and it took us longer to finish this one than it did Expedition Endurance. Yes, I want new game mechanics and more over-arching story, but I enjoy playing Time Stories for the ride - and this one is just as fantastic as the rest.

Enjoyable
Another great addition, just the grammar, spelling and font choices definitely need changing. Still, worth it.

I love T. I
I love T.I.M.E. Stories and this expansion is a particular favorite of mine. The story and puzzles were well down with a number of interesting characters to choose from. This one is rated mature, so I wouldn't play it with a younger audience.

terrific game system - TIME stories
terrific game system - TIME stories. I own all the scenarios. The scenarios are not replayable, but they are very deep and complex making it a very satisfying and fun game. The puzzles can be complicated - it helps to play with others to discuss solution options and strategies. The story is what drives it. Very tense in spots and even scary. Plays well solitaire. Game mechanic has a unique system for saving your spot in the game if you can't complete it in one session. Obvious from the beginning that this game system is well - developed and play tested. Estrella Drive is only one scenario. You must own the TIME STORIES base game. The base game comes with the first scenario - Asylum. Excellent choice of a game to play at a family gathering or party. You can teach the others the game as you go.

Not my favorite time stories, needed more editing and play testing
not my favorite of the bunch and it had SO MANY SPELLING AND GRAMMAR ERRORS and the font choice was almost impossible to read at times. That said, parts of it were still good, but I wish more were like prophecy of dragons which is my favorite so far.

It was a lot of fun
This is my third T.I.M.E. Story. It would not have been our first choice as our next "story" but it was on sale for $12.99, so we figured that we could get at least 13 bucks worth of fun out it. And indeed we did.Although the other two were better. This one was not as bad as I was expecting based on the reviews I found here and in other places. The "Mature Content" label did scare me a bit, but it was not as bad as I was expecting. The scenario was not that much worse but my guess is that it was labelled as such due to language and a couple of the pictures. The font was hard to readThere were obvious translation errorsI really enjoyed the extra "mystery" of a second "secret" deck. And all the things that could not happen until other things happened. There were several moments when we triggered a game mechanic that caused much rejoicing and other that made us groan. These were the moments that made this "story" so much fun to play. The "story" itself seems to have less clues than others but we completed the game in two runs with LOADS of extra TU at the end of the second, which of course reaps its own rewards. We had never completed a "story" in under four runs so this was really exciting for us.I am glad we bought and I am glad we played it.
