Seasoning packets hard as concrete!
The seasoning packets are all hard as concrete. We can't enjoy any of them and bought a whole case! So disappointed đ.

Avoid if you have allergies
First, I have no complaints about the taste. That being said, itâs the only positive thing about this. After taking only 3 bites of this mac and cheeze, my mouth and upper throat started to itch. This means Iâm having a minor allergic reaction to one of my allergens. Which one, however, I donât know and never will. Because when I emailed customer service via Wickedâs own website to ask about possible shared equipment with nuts (seeing as this is a vegan company and this is how I react when something is made on shared equipment with my allergens), not only did they completely avoid my question, they went on to essentially lecture me, someone who has lived with multiple severe food allergies for all 23 years of her life, about FDA labeling requirements and saying that any allergens would be labeled. The response was ridiculously and unnecessarily condescending, and is the nail in the coffin of me never buying anything from Wicked Kitchen ever again. I wouldâve been willing to try again if there was no shared equipment or simply walk away with an âoh wellâ if there was, but now Iâm leaving with a sour taste in my mouth. Youâve lost a potential customer and my trust in your brand. If I canât buy your product without assurance I wonât have a reaction, no matter how minor, why should I buy again?Oh, and just like everyone else my âpowderâ mix was hard as concrete. So bad that I had to use a mallet to break it up and that didnât even work, so the âpowderâ didnât fully dissolve for 20 minutes.

makes a good amount, good flavor, eat as is or add other stuff to it
I have tried this Smokey Picnic Mac n' Cheeze, and just prior to that, their This Is Nacho Mac n' Cheeze. They are booth pretty good to me. My review is similar to both because other than a sligtht distinction in flavor all else is the same. The nacho is more taco-esque tasting and this has a bacony flavor. Each box contains a bag of elbpw pasta and a powder packet. Easy to follow directions. You will need some liquid to dissolve the powder. Suggests to use non dairy milk and "butter". Basically cook pasta, drain, dotn rinse, add back to pot. Stir everything together, turn heat back on to thicken the sauce. Not perfect, but pretty good! It doesn't give me that ill feeling like I typically get if I make a box of standard store shelf mac n' cheese. Keep it plant based with non dairy milk and "butter". I made it according to directions in my little hot pot on highest setting. Once the pasta was done (about 8 mins), I drained then poured back into pot and added non dairy milk as well as the packet of powder. The first time I made a box, I forgot to add "butter", oops (would have been Earth Balance). The second time I added the butter. Good either way, and I think I will omit the butter in future preparations since it didnt make a big impact to me.I stirred it up and saw how watery it was. I then noticed that the directions say to heat it back up to thicken. So I turned my hot pot back on to the lowest setting, and sure enough that little bit of added heat thickened up the sauce pronto. I really think I could have used some of the pasta water instead of milk.I have tried both with nothing added to it, as well as havign doctored it up with more "cheesy" flavor by adding in nutritional yeast. Since I am neither a vegan nor a vegetarian, on one of my bowls I cut up a couple of hot chicken fingers. Other bowls I have topped with vegetables. Just depends on my mood.I had been wanting to try Wicked products forever now it seems. I never jumped on it because it was a little out of my budget. This was with the instant cups. I didnt know they came out with this style until now. Very similar in look and prep as any other mac n' cheese out there. Personally I think better taste as far as having a non complicated fresh vibe. And it doesnt make me feel bad. And way easier than trying to come up with perfect balance of ingredients for my so called quick "vegan" mac n cheese where I use veg based dried pasta, nooch, and plant based butter or a healthy oil and seasonings. I am not vegan or vegetarian but I love my vegetables and will incorporate them in any meal I can. I often omit meat, but that doesnt mean I dont enjoy it. Us meat eaters are actually quite capable of eating plenty of plants and fruits. :)I dont rate on price, but I occasionally comment. Current price for this 12 pack is $41.99 which is $3.50 per box. If you can grab coupon, even better. I dont think the price is too far off from similar offering. I like that it isnt just a cheddar-esque flavor.Overall, I like it. I think it could have better flavor, but the flavor that is there is good. I would consider this again and am in fact checking out their product line as I finish this review.

The Cheese Mix is a Solid Brick
The cheese mix packet contains a solid lump that sticks to the paper and doesn't melt fully. You end up getting chunks that are awful. The cheese mix pack is the whole purpose of buying mac cheese. A faiure of a product. First time trying this company and it'll be the last.

Itâs okâŠhard to fake Mac and cheese
Perfectly edible but doesnât really have that Mac and cheese feel. Cheese is the bane of vegan eating. I miss it, canât properly fake it.

Nasty and hard
The flavoring packet is hard as a rock, had to crush it with a hammer. It was nasty. And never could get all the flavoring to dissolve
