We got this for our office about 6 months ago and I honestly didn't expect to be this impressed. We don't print heavily — maybe a few documents here and there throughout the week — but every single time we've needed it, it just works. No paper jams, no connectivity drops, no random error messages. It fires up, connects to Wi-Fi, and does its job without drama. The ink tank system is a big win for us. Since we're not printing in high volumes, the ink has barely gone down at all in 6 months, which means running costs are genuinely low compared to traditional cartridge printers. The transparent tanks on the side let you check ink levels at a glance without having to dig into any menus, which is a small but thoughtful feature. Print quality is clean and sharp for everyday documents, and the wireless setup via the HP Smart app was straightforward from day one. The scanner works well too for the occasional document we need to digitise. If I had to mention a limitation — it doesn't support automatic double-sided printing, so you have to flip pages manually for duplex. Not a dealbreaker for light use, but worth knowing if you print multi-page documents often. Overall, a solid, low-maintenance all-in-one that delivers exactly what it promises. Would recommend for any small office or home setup.

Very disappointing product and experience. The printer is extremely slow, frequently shows error messages, and overall performance is very poor. After some time, it completely stopped printing. I contacted Amazon for support, but was informed that there was no warranty coverage. When I pointed out that the product is not even one year old, I was asked to contact the manufacturer directly. However, the contact number provided to me was incorrect. Overall, both the product quality and customer support experience have been very frustrating and not worth the money spent.

The printer is nice, but the print speed is a bit slow. Also No USB cable included with this printer, so you have to buy it separately. The scanner clarity is average, good and clear when scanning documents, but not very good if you are scanning an item or a product. There is No physical scan button on the printer, you have to do it using computer/Laptop. Good thing is that the ink tank is huge and extra black ink given which is the best part i like, now No more changing cartridge everytime. Overall at this price, this printer is nice for home or for small office use.

I purchased the HP Smart Tank 580 specifically for the convenience of wireless printing, but I am currently unable to use it for its intended purpose. Despite following the instructions, the printer consistently fails to connect to my Wi-Fi network. The setup process via the HP Smart app is extremely buggy. It either times out during the handshake or fails to find the printer on the network entirely. For a "Wireless All-in-One" printer, the wireless functionality should be the most reliable feature, but instead, it has been a major source of frustration. I’ve spent hours troubleshooting with no success. If you are looking for a "plug and play" wireless experience, I would suggest looking elsewhere. Until HP fixes the software issues in their setup app, this is essentially just a very expensive, heavy paperweight.
