I know it can be a challenge to make purchases online, and having to "trust" what you read is even from a real person, in a "field use" situation, but I assure anyone who reads this will be completely satisfied with the purchase of the Tape King branded packing tape. No need for multiple wraps and layers pf tape. This stuff clings better than ANY tape I have ever used. You get what you pay for though, as the only downfall I can find is that the rolls are slightly less linear feet than you might find out there, but remember.....this tape works with a single application, and doesn't come off down the road. I can't say that for many other packing\shipping tapes I have used. I buy nothing but TAPE KING.

The tape works really well for what I needed it for (taping paperback books for my students). It’s thinner than the national brand, but it works really well, and it goes a long way. I’ve taped twenty books, and I’m still on my first roll. Great value for the money!

I go through hundreds of rolls a tape a year and don't even waste time with 2" anymore but Tape Kings 3" tape makes our jobs so much easier and helps keep our packages arriving safely.

im a mover and i do ebay and reverb so i know boxes and tape. this stuff is probably the best tape i have ever used because of price, width, strength, adhesion, ease of ordering, lets see… not sure there is anything else i need my tape to be good at. im a repeat customer. i dont worry about my package integrity at all. my customers always remark how well my items are packed. this stuff is a win, guaranteed.

Very Good Quality Tape

I was looking for some good tape to go along with my Uline H-325 and Uline H-596 tape dispensers, both of which only support tape that is 3" wide with a 3" core (which is surprisingly hard to find) but luckily Tape King pulled through and had some available on Amazon so I didnt need to pay Uline prices for tape which are insanely high. Uline's comparable tape is the S-1893 which is 2.6 mil thick vs Tape King's 2.7 mil thick tape and each roll of Uline's tape is 3" x 55 yds vs Tape King's 3" x 60 yds so your getting a little more with Tape King in each category and the costs comparison is $4.65 per roll of Uline tape vs $2.57 per roll of Tape King's tape and its more easily available for sale on Amazon where I dont have to have extra shipping expenses since its available with Prime.The Tape King tape that I received looks crystal clear to me and didnt have any strong chemical smell like some of the other reviewers mentioned where they received tape with strong chemical smell and yellow tape instead of crystal clear. The only reason I gave it 4/5 stars is because the quality seems to be inconsistent and the tape feels a little thin for 2.7 mil thickness. Some of the tapes that I received in the 6 pack split in half around the middle easily when looking for the edge to put it in the tape dispenser while other rolls stayed together pretty well. The thickness of the rolls seems pretty consistent but still a little thin for my taste, its too bad the next level up in thickness is rather expensive per roll.Pros--------------+ Fits both the Uline H-325 and Uline H-596 tape dispensers.+ True 3" wide core and 3" wide rolls of tape.+ 5 more yards of tape, 0.1 more mil of thickness, for $2.08 less per roll than Uline's comparable tape (at the time of my review).+ More easily available than Uline tape since Tape King is fulfilled by Amazon.Cons--------------- The tape feels kind of thin for 2.7 mil thickness.- The quality seems inconsistent, some reviewers mentioned strong chemical smell, other reviewers mentioned yellowish color.- I experienced some rolls of tape splitting across the middle when I was looking for the edge to set it up in the tape gun, for 2.7 mil thickness tape I expected better.Conclusion--------------While im not too sure about the quality and consistency of Tape King's tape in real life applications vs the paper specs yet it certainly seems like a good bargain so far. If the quality of Tape King's tape holds up well I will make it my go to tape whenever I need more tape for my Uline tape dispensers.

I was skeptical, but I ended up satisfied. it is strong, and sticks well. It's important to make sure enough width is stuck down, narrow folded edges don't adhere as well. Just use more of it! I am so happy I moved from 2" to 3" tape. it works so much better. And get a 3" dispenser for it!

Very impressed with how heavy duty this tape is. I used it on boxes for moving and it was perfect. It went a long ways. I didn't run out of tape is fast as I did other brands

Great for the bottom of made up boxes really stickey I need to buy more for the ammount of stuff we had to pack but I did use a lot per box that I made up as I'm OTT about how I make up boxes.

3" tape is hard to find but it makes taping boxes together so much easier. I've used a number of sources but this is the best, for quality vs price, that I've found.

I would highly recommend this tape. It seals very well, doesn't leave sticky residue, and has such wide width it can seal the trickiest of boxes.

Great value thick tape, perfect for sealing bix cardboard boxes efficiently.

Does the job. Sticks well and does not leave a residue when removed.
