Saved Some Space & Weight…
I container garden at an apartment. I have steel roller carts & galvanized containers with legs. My first layer is always empty water bottles, shavings (to save weight) and finally dirt. I bought these planter boxes to sit inside my containers to keep containers light. (They all have wheels on one end so I can move them under cover if needed) Last year I could barely move my containers, this year, the weight is cut in half and I can roll them anywhere. These cubes helped A LOT!!!. 🌱

New Way to Garden
As my husband and I are in our 80's, and too old to dig, plow, plant and weed anymore, yet are still avid gardeners - we thought these fabric containers might be an answer to our dilemma. We ordered 2 sets of 2 each, and filled them 1/2 full with soil. Currently, we have melon, summer and winter squash and sweet potatoes growing in the cubicles. The fabric is fairly sturdy, and keeps the plants separated well. We plan to order more of these, and use them for flowers. I recommend them for anyone who loves gardening, but who has little space to use, or energy to exert.

DOESN'T HOLD THE SQUARE SHAPE, JUST OK
I got this for my garden, and when I filled it up with dirt it doesn't hold the square shape. It has four square sections, and they became deformed when I put dirt in. Which made it difficult to plant, because alot of space was lost due to the deforming. I ended up using it for composting kitchen scraps. I would take banana peels, egg shells, vegetable and fruit scraps and mix them in the dirt in this planter. I also put a bunch of red wiggler worms in to help break down the scraps faster. So far so good with that. I also noticed that it attracts alot of rolly Polly's . That could be because of the food scraps I'm not sure. I would only recommend if you don't mind that it doesn't hold the square shape which gives you less planting room. I would definitely recommend if you want to use it as a compost bin.

Good with a few notes
We like this overall. It is a large enough bed for growing herbs and vegetables. It gives a bit of structure to the bed also making it easy to turn the soil at the end of the season. It has held up well through this summer and fall (remains to be seen how it handles winter and the rains).

An excellent option for square-foot-gardens!
If you do square-foot-gardening, this is close to perfect. It's just shy of 12x12 inches per inner square, but if you plant your seeds just a little lighter, it works. You can grow four different varieties of beans or peas on one trellis with this set up. You can also plant these as a permanent strawberry bed to be able to keep different varieties separated. A good tip to keep in mind is that you should fill these with soil where you want to keep them... they become heavy and difficult to move once they're full.

Easy way to section apart plants
Easy way to create a new bed that could technically go anywhere you'd like. I have a slab beside my greenhouse that I use for caterpillar/butterfly rearing. Normally I put potted parsley or milkweed inside to contain & protect them. This bed will be perfect for my milkweed, hopefully, where I can just put my portable pvc netted cage over it.They arrived in the manufacturers packaging with the shipping label slapped on, and vacuum sealed.Initially shaping it takes a bit of patience. The inner 'walls' are not attached to the bottom, so it's very flexible. Fill each section, a little bit at a time, and rotate between sections; it helps maintain the inner wall structure better than filling each section fully one at a time. Right now I have mine filled half way, and they've been rained on, and the structure has remained pretty squared. I can't imagine this being easy to move once filled with soil and plants.Edit, end of the growing season/October:Great growing season; loaded it up with 2 types of perennial milkweed seed. I'm hoping to move it, but it's insanely heavy, duh, but has held up perfectly. No issues.

Lacks structure and doesn't look at all like picture
So as the title says, this bag has no structure. The sides all bulge out and the bag looks pretty funky when it's all full of soil and plants. I knew the image was photoshopped, but yikes.Other than that, it works pretty well. I don't mind how weird it looks since it's just being used to grow lettuce in the garden where no one can really see it but me. I did have one hiccup where I cut through it with a hoe on accident, whoops. It went through it like butter, but I'm sure this product was not meant to withstand something like that.
