Best one for personal smoothies!
This was a gift for my wife. I almost bought the Costco Alta Pro which is also very nice, but this blender was better. Here’s why: it was on sale for less, it had three programs instead of two on the Alta, and the container was 48oz and better for personal 12oz smoothies than the 64oz Alta container. She loved the smoothie program and felt it blended her smoothies better than our previous Vitamix from Costco, similar to Alta Pro. The 64oz container is better for family size blends of 16oz or more. But for personal blends, this is the one to get! Highly recommended, Vitamix blenders are worth it for the long lasting power and durability.

Powerful, Reliable, and Worth Every Penny
The Vitamix Propel Series 510 blender has been an outstanding addition to my kitchen and has easily lived up to the Vitamix reputation. From the first use, it’s clear this machine is built for performance and durability. It powers through everything I’ve thrown at it—frozen fruit, ice, nuts, and fibrous vegetables—without hesitation, producing smooth, consistent results every time. The preset programs are extremely convenient and take the guesswork out of blending. Whether I’m making smoothies, soups, or frozen desserts, the results are reliable and repeatable. The variable speed control is also a big plus, allowing fine-tuned control when I want a specific texture. Everything feels intuitive and well thought out, even for someone who doesn’t want to spend time fiddling with settings. Build quality is excellent. The blender feels solid and stable on the counter, and the container design works well for both small and large batches. Cleanup is quick and easy—usually just a drop of dish soap, warm water, and a quick blend does the trick, which makes daily use much more appealing. Overall, the Vitamix Propel Series 510 is a powerful, dependable blender that delivers professional-level results at home. It’s an investment, but one that absolutely pays off in performance, ease of use, and long-term reliability. I couldn’t be happier with it and would highly recommend it to anyone serious about blending.

Love it! Fast and easy!
I replaced my 20 year old blender with the Vitamix and I am so happy with it! Excellent quality, powerful enough to easily make iced drinks and it is easy to clean and use. It has pre-set programs for shakes, desserts and soups or you can use the manual option with variable speed. Some say it is loud but i don’t think it is louder than any other powerful blender. The power switch is discreet so don’t forget to turn it on before you attempt to use. If you want something that will last then this is for you. It costs a little more than your average blender because it isn’t your average blender.

Great investment. Blends well
Love how it blends so well. Only thing I don’t like it the top of it. It doesn’t secure very well. Sometimes the liquid will seep out the sides

Vitamin is a superior product but expensive unless on special price.
Excellent product. Use for daily smoothie.

So far so good
This is my first Vitamix purchase. I bought this mainly for smoothies for myself. My old blender left me picking berry seeds out of my teeth after each smoothie. Hummus and cauliflower mash came out grainy in the food processor and would jam up my old blender unless you added more liquid, making the final product too runny. I watched many videos reviewing different Vitamix models. Most of the "influencers" recommended the fancier models with all the bells and whistles such as the Ascent 3500. I personally thought it was overkill for me and didn't think I'd ever use the timer, all the preset options, and different containers. I mean, it's a blender right? You put stuff in, turn it on for a minute and then turn it off. I'm not baking cookies or roasting a turkey in there. The first thing I decided to make was strawberry ice cream using heavy whipping cream and frozen strawberries. I used the preset option for frozen desserts and tamper stick. The preset options have automated times and speeds and stop automatically after the preset cycle is finished. After the cycle was done it wasn't smooth enough for me so I used the variable speed dial on high for another 15 seconds and it was smooth, creamy, and delicious. After that experience, I don't think I'll be using the preset options much because depending on the type and quantity of ingredients, you will need to blend for different times to get just the right final consistency based on your individual preference. The presets don't account for all that. To address some of the negative reviews: Pitcher shifting: yes, the pitcher shifts a tad when the blender kicks on. That is normal. The motor is very powerful and the pitcher needs to have some give to it. Lid: The lid does form a complete seal you just have to make sure you put some weight on it when you press it down into place. Container size: This pitcher works just fine for my use but I usually only make two-serving smoothies using low volume items (no large fruits or greens). If you plan to blend a lot of large items and/or making additional servings at once, I would probably suggest buying a blender that comes with a larger pitcher or buying the 64 oz. tall Vitamix pitcher, which is compatible with this base. The 64 oz. wide pitcher is NOT compatible. Sound: yes, it's loud. It's also very powerful. Those two things usually go hand in hand. The highest power setting is almost intimidating to use for the first time. Don't be scared to let it do it's thing. Keep the tamper handy. Recipe book: The recipe book does not give conflicting instructions. I can't believe I have to explain this, but people read from top to bottom so the water or liquid is listed first in the recipes because it's the first ingredient to add to the bottom of the pitcher. Overall, I really like this blender so far. The only thing I am wondering is if the 64 oz tall pitcher would help pull the ingredients down to the blade a little better because I almost always have to use the tamper for thicker blends. The reason I didn't get the 5200 with tall pitcher was because it was over $100 more than I paid for this one and didn't have a pulse button. I also didn't like that you have to turn the dial to 10 and also flip on the "high" switch to blend on high. Lastly, I thought I'd like having the preset options, which the 5200 didn't have, but have since found them unnecessary. UPDATE: After using this blender for about a month, I have learned the proper ratio of frozen fruit and liquid to get my smoothies perfectly smooth and creamy using the smoothie preset option. I use the blender to make smoothies 99% of the time so I don't really use the other preset options. As I continue to use it, my ability to identify the proper ratio of ingredients to get the desired final consistency is improving. Overall, I'm loving this blender!

Terrible Result!
What a BIG disappointment. We've been a Vitamix user for years. We wore our first one out (a larger Series) and sent it in for a tune-up as advertised. No problem... until we got it back and it never worked as well as the original - louder and didn't blend fruit completely. So we purchased this smaller, new, Series 510 product. We set it up for its first use and the Start switch is BROKEN! It wouldn't start, it doesn't work, and I will be sending it back!!

The motor and base seem to work well. My only gripe is the cup. Its not that secure or is too big sitting on the base motor. Not sure if all containers will do that but for over $400 I expect a cup that shouldn't move or twist on the base. Even the cheaper blenders never did that.

This is a very expensive but also very high quality blender so you really get what you pay for. The cup only holds 6.5 cups but I was able to fill it full and blend successfully unlike other larger blender cups where my blender struggled on a full cup. Also, if it were any taller given the base it wouldn’t fit under the cupboards whereas this one does for a standard cupboard clearance. It has three blender options as well as a manual setting where you can crank it from low to high. There is not cleaning function but you can still clean it just use the manual settings. My favourite feature is the supplied masher that ensures you never stick a spoon in your blender again causing chaos. It’s a great product and I highly recommend.

I love the size and you cannot hear the noise. It’s very smooth. I really like it. It’s worth it buying it.! and I like it. It’s very easy for my kids to use it.

Bought this on sale. Our second Vitamix in 20 years and this one works great! Mashes everything into liquid for soups or smoothies... very powerful and big enough to make two or three portions of smoothy. Very happy with it and would recommend it.

My wife makes pretty formidable smoothies about every other day. Our Ninja gave up the ghost after about 5 years so we wanted to go a bit more upscale this time. Frankly the cost seemed insane to me, especially for something that doesn't appear to have a ton of features or gimmicks, but once you turn it on you can tell why it's expensive. Instead of bells and whistles it focuses on being a good blender. It's heavy and solid and I'm pretty sure it would blend a car if you could fit it in the jug. I'm certain this thing will outlast me. Worth the price.
