As a vegetarian for more than 35 years, the holy grail has always been jelly sweets. For literally decades they were nonexistent, but to my delight, there’s a fairly good variety of them. I have a very sensitive mouth and fizzy sweets are off the menu, so a lot of mixed bags aren’t suitable. These sweets are fantastic and a reasonably soft jelly, so ok for older, dodgy teeth. You won’t lose a filling eating these. The variety is limited, including cola bottles, cherries, letters, teddy bears, snakes, fruit shapes etc, but they’re all great tasting and I’ve already ordered another bag. The colour variety is good too. The only downside is that had I, as a child received a 1kg bag of sweets I’d have been hysterical at such a huge bag. As an adult and especially when things taste this good, it’s very easy to get through, ahem, 500 grams, especially when watching a good film. So 1kg doesn’t last long! Thank goodness for Prime and next day delivery.
