I bought a similar type belt here on Amazon about 2 years ago.It was thicker,plastic buckle, and dug in at belly.I lost it on a trip recently,but will likely find it now that I bought this one. I wear one daily, so I gave this one a shot.I could not find a 1.25 wide in this type of belt,or with a reliably reviewed buckle. I always read many reviews.This belt is 1.5 inches wide,but thinner in thickness which I found to be a plus,no digging in,lighter,still plenty strong and holds it's shape. The buckle is metal,a big plus for me! and not crazy wide, also "not" digging in. The buckle from my experience with it, stays secure all day. Recommend seller and product for sure! Great value!!!

I "lost" the elastic band (the one that secures excess belt length) several times because when you remove the belt from your pants, the belt loop grabs the elastic band and it falls to the ground. So far I've found it 3-4 times. Am considering superglue or a couple of stitches to keep it in-place.

Okay, so this the problems I have with this belt. Although the description says it's a Canvas / Nylon military styled belt , it's not the texture or thickness you've come to expect from such a belt, both texture and thickness is closer to that of a car's seat belt, and the loop which is supposed to keep the tip of the belt tucked neatly, is made of weak elastic type material which stretches and runs slack after a couple uses, defeating its purpose. The loop even fell out a couple of times, until one day I could no longer find it.The good, is that the belt does hold it's tension, and there hasn't been any noticeable fraying of materials due to fastening the belt tightly.

The quality seems pretty good. This belt seems durable in that the buckle is metal and the stitching seems like it'll hold up. Nylon belts with plastic buckles have failed me a couple times, but I don't think this belt will any time soon. The end of the belt is cut a corner, allowing for quick insertion into the buckle. I bought the belt to hold my shorts/swim trunks for a river trip and it did it's job. It even dries fast. 4 stars because it takes a bit of effort to tighten it pretty tight.

I wanted to like this belt, but it doesn't stay tight. It's made from decent materials, but it just loosens up all day long. I ended up buying an Aegis belt from Ares Gear. They are a lot more expensive, but they do not slip at all.

Good belt that I use almost every day. It was easy to cut and burning the edge has worked perfectly. It is the perfect width as it fits all my pants but is wide enough to fit snugly and comfortably.

Good for the price. Let me say I would buy again, but note to supplier-the end of the web belt needs a smooth over by the manufacturer. It can scratch if not smoothed. I sanded mine, great now.

Great belt for the price. I like a wide belt like this, but don't carry enough to warrant a full riggers belt. This one is easy to put on and still handles the light duty EDC gear with no issues.
