Beautiful Finish and So Fast To Grind
First, this is a first impression review, not a long term. The finish is as good as I hoped in real life as it was in the pics (grey model). The knurls feel perfect. Deep and not sharp. Compared to my Hand Ground coffee grinder I've been using for years, my grind time has been cut in half. It makes me laugh out loud in pleasure each time I realize I'm done. Two small things that could elevate this for me: if the threads for the hopper on bottom were finer and it took another 3/4" turn to secure. It sounds nice when the threads go in. I'm just always surprised that it's tight in like 1 full turn or maybe even less. Just doesn't feel as secure as I'd like (this is subjective, and it is secure, it's just if this were absolutely PERFECT for me it'd be another twist to fully tighten in place).Second, and equally as small, it'd be great if there were a coffee funnel or some sort that you sent with the grinder. I realize many people are using this for travel and don't want an extra piece. But they could leave that at home. I use this at home, and when I pour my beans in many of them hit the cross bracing and bounce out. It' a small annoyance. Either a cheap funnel or one that matches the beauty of the grinder would be nice. All in all, it's a thing of pleasure. A beautiful object that does what it's supposed to very well. I love it.

Awesome grinder
I am so thoroughly impressed with this grinder. Since travelling to Italy, I've had the itch to make Espresso, but was missing a grinder that could grind fine enough. I saw this bad boy on sale and decided to pull the trigger, even though my preference is for an electric grinder (easier/I'm not a coffee professional). Goodness am I glad I gave this a shot. My wife was impressed just how easy it was to grind with it. There's almost 0 resistance as you grind, but just enough to let you know when you're finished grinding. It took me 4 grinds to dial in the exact level I needed, and ever since, I've been making great Espresso at home!My only gripe is cleaning. I clean it after every use, and it's just a little tough to really get the brush deep enough for a very thorough clean. It's not impossible, but takes a little more effort than I'd like, mostly because I'm lazy by nature. It cleans well enough, though!Overall, amazing product and I'm so glad I gave it a chance!

Marvellous!
Easy to use, consistent grind that is perfect for my aeropress. Takes 30 easy seconds to grind a single cup (1 heaping aeropress scoop of beans). The taste is smoother, nuttier, and less bitter/oily than using pre-ground coffee of the same bean type. The grinder is super solid and seem very durable. It's hefty in your hands but light enough for anyone to use. I wouldn't bring it for backpacking but it's certainly portable for car camping or other travel.Absolutely worth the cost and I'm sure it will last a lifetime. I just wish it came with some cleaning equipment and maintenance instructions.

Nice, but expensive and lame instructions
Knocked a point off, because the "How to Adjust Grind Settings" instructions said to turn clockwise until you can't turn it further and then turn it clockwise to the setting you want (what?!!). It's clockwise all the way, then step back COUNTER-clockwise. For $60 a pop I think they could find someone to write a coherent sentence. Small ask that would save half of their new customers from dropping the burr. The grinding goes very quickly and not clumsily.Glad I bought the smaller version. It's a better form factor for holding and storage. Compared to an electric, it's less bulk, less to clean, and fewer irreplaceable parts to break. I'm not taking it camping or using it in a dorm room. Why would they market it for that when there are so many arguments for using it in a full-size kitchen?Screwing the bottom back on isn't a great experience. Maybe the threads are too fine?TBH, I would be impressed if it were a Chinese unknown brand selling for $25. I like it, but it doesn't quite live up to the brand hype for me.

This thing just feels high quality
I switched to this from a budget grinder and the difference is night and day. The anodized aluminum finish makes it look/feel like a high quality items. The threads of the bottom cup screw in smoothly and its such a satisfying fit. The whole thing is so well-machined that sometimes I just like to hold it in my hands and stare at it. Something about it just makes me giddy lol.The grind adjustment at the bottom snaps in to positions nicely and has never gotten loose on me. I also like how quickly it is able grind. It takes 30-45 seconds for me to grind about 15-18g of coffee. The included brush is great for cleaning and in the few months I've been using it I've never had to any sort of deep cleaning. It doesn't seem to get gunked up like other grinders I've used.

A more expensive manual grinder is unnecessary, stop here
When the only thing I can complain about is the cleaning brush it comes with for cleaning (can't keep bristles straight), you know it's a good product. This is a fantastic piece of coffee equipment. Visually homogeneous grind size, simple to disassemble and clean, sturdy, visually appealing construction, high end stainless steel burr for not a high price. 30 gram capacity depends on bean density but largely accurate, I would recommend to stop here, I considered 1Zpresso at double the price, and though I can't comment on that grinder, I bought from Timemore and never looked back. Don't use for espresso though, the smaller the grind setting the longer it takes. I tried to grind espresso once to see what it was like manually and it took forever. If you want an all in one grinder, this isn't it, buy a separate espresso grinder, this one's great for French press and pour over. Fantastic offering by Timemore.

Quiet, effective grinder for small amounts of coffee
I had a burr grinder that worked pretty well but was extremely loud, so when it broke I decided I would just buy coffee already ground. This works fine most of the time, but occasionally I'll be gifted an excellent bag of Kona beans and it makes me sad to have to give it away. This little grinder is the answer! It's quiet, it grinds smoothly and efficiently and it stores in a little pouch that takes up very little space. It's also kind of fun to use!
