This grounding tester works great. I use it often to see if my bed grounding sheets still working at their best. I use it to see if the wiring for the grounding sheets still works or not. It is amazing to have this to know that you are truly getting grounded. It is a must for anyone serious about earth grounding.

So I didn't love the idea of paying almost as much for this as my grounding pad but it was so worth it. I bought 3 grounding pads and one of them tested as broken. I've never done grounding before and would have just thought it was a scam if the tester hadn't identified that one pad as broken. I've also read where people got sheets that worked in the beginning but not after a few months, which could be from washing, but I like that I can test my devices to see if they are working even after I've used them for a while. Update: So glad I have this, I noticed on my second pad that the dogs weren't interested in it any more so I retested it, and it's not working either. The tester let me confirm this in time so I'll get refunds on both those pads. Happily, my 3'rd pad is still working but I'm going to keep testing it, apparently grounding pads aren't made to last.

I was so excited to try this out. I watched the videos which were super helpful. I tested it on my ground pad and I was heartsick. Oh no. Something else to return! Then I thought, well maybe the pad isn't plugged in (duh!). Well it was. Again, disappointed. Then it hit me - I had the grounding pad UPSIDE down. When I flipped it over so the conductive side (the side the little thing snaps into), the tester said it was working. So, knowing which side goes up on your pad is essential to using the tester to get the proper result. Whew.

Like many others said, light stayed on even if grounding mat is unplugged, you have to wait a few minutes of being unplugged for the light to turn off. Now if you're following YouTuber Pigmie advice, this will not work. When he tests outside he just put the pin on the earth/dirt/ grass while his finger on the the sensor. That didn't work for us. Basically we had to have the thing plugged the whole time. Then we walked around outside and green light came on on some places but not everywhere. It also turns in when putting your hand under water. So I'm not sure. I don't quite understand why putting the pin in the earth wouldn't turn the light green and why it has to be plugged. Also instructions are confusing and our product didn't come with the Safe T cube as shown on the instructions

If it is accurate, it seems to work well.

The device I received was a simple circuit tester, it only light up when I was touching both sensors or if both sensors were on a conductive service (like a loose hinge sitting on top of a wooden table). It did not light up when the probe was inserted in the ground.

I would have never thought I'd need a ground tester ever in my lifetime. But, when I had to test my new earthing mat I was very thankful to be able to go to Amazon and find a nice piece of equipment that I had never heard of. It is another small addition to my ever-growing tool kit !
