i bought another camera from maplin similar price but a lot clearer picture, it does the job but i think next cam will be from maplin,

The camera kit arrived on stated date, it was delivered by royal mail. I have not yet fitted the camera but i have tried it out and it appears to be very good value for money.

Great product, cracking quality in terms of footage. Downside was that not enough cable supplied to wire it in so meant an additional purchase of cable. No Zoom facility

In bright daylight this camera is quite good, although the colours are a little muted. At low light levels (dusk and dawn) it is very good, resolving colours that the eye struggles to see. When it is very dark the camera switches to black & white and the resolution suffers quite badly. Having said that, it's probably as good as domestic CCTV cameras get. The worst problem is that as light levels change the camera adjusts and the image flickers briefly. Although not a problem if you are just watching the output, it is enough to trigger a false record event on the CA1 recorder (see my separate review of that).

Good overall quality and performance for the price well worth the money

the camera is very easy to set up at is also good qualty and is very good at night time
