Great book!
I love this story. Female heroine with the underlying messages of: 1) be sure to read the whole story and 2) believe in yourself even if someone says you "can't". Reads nicely and pictures are cute.

Favorite at our preschool. Grandchildren love it too.
Our preschoolers love us reading Buzz to them. We love it because it gives us an opportunity to reinforce never giving up and not listening to others when they tell you that you can not do something. Just put your mind to it and you can. My grandchild likes me to read it each time he comes over. It is now becoming a repeat for my other grandchildren. I will order more books from this author. I LOVE this book
Just look at that bee's face on the cover. This book is wonderful. There's a real story inside: Our worker bee loves to fly and she visits with other creatures. Then she reads a newspaper article about a scientific study. It says bees can't fly. Uh-oh! I won't say more or it'll give away the story but it's great and suspenseful writing. The illustrations are fantastic - the bee face is very compelling. I'm a beekeeper so I must report how grateful I am that the illustrations don't show the bee's stinger sticking out all the time. (Their stingers are only out if they're going to sting). Also, thanks to the author too, for having the bee heroine be female. Since the workers are female it's nice to see some accuracy.I highly recommend this book. Children will love reading this book or better yet having it read to them.
