Maybe I was doing it wrong...?
So maybe i did it totally wrong, maybe there is a learning curve...? I dried my hair a little bit to get it not dripping and proceeded to wrap small sections around the dryer. It dried pretty slowly, even on high heat. Then I let the hair down and immediately all the girl fell out, almost straight. After 20 minutes or so and several locks of hair with the same result I put it aside. It may work better if I use hot on each lock and THEN hit is with the cooler air, but honestly I can't imagine how long it would take to do the whole head. If I am going to keep a separate hair styler in the drawer it needs to really do its job. This one is a no from me.

Good design
The curler is simple enough to use. It isn’t completely "cool" as I imagined but ... no real complaints. I like the that it has a temp control and you can choose to apply the "fan" when you need it. It's a bit small / thin, but that makes it good for travel also, I suppose.
