Root Touch Up Permanent Hair Dye 8 Medium Blonde

Well tried product which works really well for me. It covers my grey between full colouring sessions and works really well. I only use a small amount of the product each time and this means that it does 3-4 touch ups from one pack. My hear is dark brown with some red in it naturally. I've also been having red highlights and some red added to th all over colour for the last 9 months and this root touch up works as well as it did when I had it one colour. I'm very pleased with this product. I had trouble getting locally so ordered from Amazon but I'll probably got it on-lie from Superdrug in future as it's cheaper.

This was the perfect colour match for my hair and I was so impressed I have bought it again. It is for use during the pandemic and keeps my hair looking tip top. Really happy with Clairol as the colour I used matched perfectly the colour on the box (4R). The product definitely covers grey roots but I’m unsure how long it will last. I left the product on for the extra 5 minutes instructions say you can do. You get some plastic gloves; a small plastic mixing bowl with application brush and the tube of colour with the developer bottle. The instructions were very clear and easy to read / understand. My advice is follow the instructions; do the allergy test and a strand test which is what I did. There was plenty of product to cover full head of roots. It was an easy transaction with the fabulous Amazon seller; dispatched immediately and with super fast delivery.

This product is good and does colour my grey just a shame it doesn't last longer. I leave it on my hair for longer than it states when I colour my hair and it generally colours my grey for about 3 weeks. Its easy to apply and the little tray and brush that is provided is very good and easy to use.

I bought this to address my overdue root touch up. Colour matches my hairdresser dyed hair perfectly. You get just the right amount of mixture to cover your roots a good inch or so. This is not for a full head. People have commented that it is a waste of money buying this when you could buy a full pack and just mix what you need when you need it. Personally, I prefer the comfort of knowing that the different products you need to mix are in the right proportions. Once mixed this goes on easily and without drips. I did find the brush tricky to use - almost felt like the wrong shape, so once I had done my hairline I massaged the dye into my roots with my finger tips and this worked just as well. I did leave the dye on longer than the ten minutes (as previously suggested) and the colour has taken well. My hair feels soft and doesn't smell of hair dye - which for me is a bonus as I hate the smell of freshly dyed hair. Will definitely buy again.

Very good and easy to use. No mess when mixing the colour. Remember this is just a touch up so if you have thick hair I would say buy 2 of these or just the usual full box hair colour. I myself have very fine hair and the amount you get from the container is just enough to cover my roots. If you prefer you can buy the full hair colour if you have loads of root touch up to do.

I've used this for years on my extremely long hair for covering the grey roots and this shade is brilliant a perfect match, but Clairol have changed the formula which they don't mention anywhere on the box only that it is 'improved' with a better brush and bowl.......however when you get to the tube which normally comes out brown it now comes out sort of blonde looking, at first I thought there was something wrong with it as it is out of date despite buying new. I went online to check out if anyone else had had this experience and the answer is yes loads of people, and they are mostly not happy. Clairol say the shade you buy will be the shade you get despite the change in appearance of the product in the tube, not everyone agrees with them though. I didn't use it but will try next time and will bear in mind what others have said about how the shade comes out. Clairol say this new formula 'seamlessly covers roots' but it did that anyway so why change it in the first place.

First time using this product. Been nearlt 3 months since I've had my hair highlighted and it is blonde naturally but not as blonde as I like so tried this as currently can't afford my usual salon (£90 for highlights!) I am so pleased with the result! Looks a million times better, done it myself and left on for 13 minutes well just over. Even my other half, who never notices anything, said it looks nice! Will definitely buy again! Picture makes it look orangy but it isn't in person. Can't believe the price, it's £6 in my local Boots!

I usually use the Clairol Permanent dye in 'Darkest Brown' but found that it was quite a chore to regularly top up when my roots were showing; having to colour my entire head with colour, and causing build up. I had never tried just a root touch up kit, as cost wise it made more sense to purchase a whole box! However I found this easy to apply and it blended perfectly. As mentioned I always used 'Darkest Brown' so was hesitant when this was only available in 'Dark' but it still blended well. This would be fine for theoe with Dark to Darkest Brown, if you want a quick fix. I used this twice over the space 4 months and then went for a full box -No doubt I will use just the touch up kit again lengthening the time in between doing a 'full colour'

It was lumpy and dryish. I think it was old stock. Hard to work with.

Away with the gray, without having to color the entire head of hair. Gotta be better for the hair.

Très facile à appliquer, le rendu est superbe. Marche très bien avec ma couleur naturelle marron foncé. Marche aussi avec les couleurs de salon.

Its does not really work for me. Has nothing to do with the product at all maybe my hair. Thanks
