I have bought so many Nerf branded water guns and they are a pain in the butt to put water in them. These guns are so easy to use and you do NOT need to assist your kids 24/7 with putting in water. All you do is slide the top white part on the gun back let it fill up and then just push it forward to close it. They really are super easy and very functional and for the price point…you get 4 total, two different sizes, they were a blast and literally had no issues, and no complaints. They also used them in the pool, so even that much easier to just push back the top white part, submerge in water, and take it out and go. They refilled those things in seconds and were back at.

Perfect. Super quick to fill. The larger guns took a minute to figure out how to fill (just pull the back hammer). My 5 yr old has played so much with them.

Purchased for my young daughter and her friends to use outside and in the pool. Pros: -RAPID REFILLS: Refilling these takes seconds and is done in a way that kids can easily grasp and is surprisingly fun. Just get a cup or pocket they can fit in, fill them up with water, and you can dunk the guns in, open the flap, and water will immediately refill -Cool Design: Looks like a cool futuristic gun, kids enjoy it, although some parents might find it a bit off-putting. -Thick plastic: These things feel durable, having taken a few falls, and are generally just tossed into a toy chest with little care, but are barely scratched and work perfectly -No Pumping: Standard water pistols, don't need to be pumped or pressurized before, and work immediately after filling Cons: -Spray Distance: Listing says 25-30 ft., I'd say it's more 10-15 ft reliably and MAYBE 20 ft. if you're really pushing the trigger. -Small Spray: I personally see this as a plus, as kids won't get soaked in a few minutes, but it doesn't put out a ton of water Overall: 4 Stars These are great, we use them all the time in our pool and backyard. Buying 4 guns means if other kids want to join in, we have extras. Having two sizes is nice for smaller hands as well, and for what its worth, the smaller pistol is better distance wise. Would definitely recommend these and will likely be picking up the bigger blasters as they age up.

If the smaller water guns worked as well as the bigger ones, I would be happier with my purchase. The small ones need to be held perfectly straight otherwise water will not shoot. While son and I tested these out, I put the smaller water gun in my pocket and planned on using it when the larger one ran out of water. By the time I took the smaller one out of my pocket, all the water had leaked out of it and it was empty. I will be returning these and searching for something that works better.
