Really easy to put together out of the box and screws supplied for fitting to the top of a fence post. There was another fitting for a pole which I did not use.The screen looks great with loads of info. Although at fist the screen looks very busy and crammed with info after a few minutes the info soon becomes very easy to read at a glance.Setting up the app and account did cause us a few problems and was a bit frustrating but once set up and connected it seems to work well and is really good.Accuracy seems very good to me and overall I am very pleased with it and would recommend it to other weather watchers.

Model YC 9387. A very extensive professional home weather station with a comprehensive and clear colour indoor display showing every statistic that you would ever need. There are max / min values for all data, which can be cleared / reset individually as you wish. Highly customisable so you can view the data in the format that you prefer. Eg Temp in deg c or deg f, wind speed in metric or imperial units, choice of pressure units, etc. WiFi connection to the internet so the clock is always in sync and with auto adjust for summer time etc., also join one or both of the recommended online weather servers to view your data on your PC or on a smartphone when away from home. A very clear easy-to-follow printed manual is provided, written in "proper" English. There are several Youshiko models, so I would suggest that you view them on their web site and download the manual before purchase, so that you get the model best suited to your requirements. The outdoor unit can be mounted on a flat surface, screwed vertically to a facia or mounted on a pole, as you wish. Customer service helped me very promptly and diagnosed and identified an internet connection difficulty, which was entirely due to my PC setup and nothing to do with the weather station. Hint: If your PC is connected by ethernet cable and you have a problem, then disconnect it temporarily, connect by WiFi and follow the instructions in the manual (page 9 & 10) to setup the Weather Server Connection. When this is all completed, you can reconnect the ethernet cable. Highly recommended.

Very easy to install. I fastened it to a weighted wooden board that wouldn't slide about on the corrugated roof. Setting up the base station was a bit tedious, it took me three days, but so far so good. Only issue is that the barometric reading, 992hPa, is out of cinque with my local Met Office station, 1010hPa, ten miles away.

This weather station was very easy to put together and mount all you then had to to do was plug in your display and set up the screen in temperature F/C and the clock 12/24 hour for simple installation.I did have a query on the the clock which showed AP which as an old silver surfer did not mean much to me as I had not been brought up with this type of technology, so I emailed the customer service leaving my telephone number and within 30 minutes a representative from the company rang me to answer my query and help me link up my router to the station he was quite willing to set the system up to my phone as well. As I only wanted to get use to this station he said just call them and they would help me. This is what I call customer service and to be able to guide an older person over the phone was brilliant buy this one if you want good service. Thank you

Bought this to replace my old Maplin weather station that lasted around 4 years. Wanted a solar monitor version but could not justify the additional cost. Why this should be the case I don't know.This unit links to weathercloud and Wunderground fairly easily - which is cool. Easy to install. Monitor need to be plugged into main at all times. Would have preferred a plainer display ( i think the cloudy graphics are a bit tacky).Not sure if this unit uses a radio controlled clock as you configure an NTP server into the unit, which, if its working should be just as accurate, and means you could but the cheaper German Bressler version with no worries.Update: my unit stopped reporting rainfall from its original position after a few days. It would wake up if the pole was giuven bit of shake shake but then stop again. Response from Youshieko was excellent with number of recommendations focusing upon maintaining the sensor unit level. So here's a thing...how do you check the level on top of the sensor when its on top of a two meter pole on roof? Anyway after week or two of experimentation the rain gauge only seemed to work within few meters of the base unit. Youshieko have sent a complete sensor unit o me as a replacement which is really impressive of them. This is now installed and there is 3 days of rain forecast so lets see what happens!

Great for tracking temperature and all aspects of the weather. Easy to use. Shame there is no app dashboard to view remotely

I bought this for DH for Xmas but it took us a few months to find the right location for it. Now it's up it's working really well. The sensor is a good distance from the house, which has thick walls, but that doesn't seem to be an issue. I followed the instructions for setting up the console and connecting to Weathercloud, and it wasn't too bad, though it takes time and occasionally trial & error. The Weathercloud interface is a bit clunky and linking the device is challenging because the ID codes that you have to input are enormously long, so you need patience and persistence. I have had a couple of small problems since then which have been due to my misunderstanding of how things work, but Youshiko customer service are incredibly helpful and they don't seem to mind me getting in touch.The console has a lovely bright display which now lights up our hall, day and night. It's nice that our kids can see what the weather's like at home, and we can follow weather stations near them too (one is in the UAE). And we look at it all the time now, before we go outside. I would recommend this weather station and I think it's good value.
