Not made well
The press is not easy to use. I tried it before putting anything in there and the press missed the hole where the garlic would be and then when I place it in, it got stuck for a little. It does not seem like it will last long and I am returning it.

All you need sometimes
Sometimes, you're just giving a little chicken some saute for a sandwich, and you want some garlic, but nothing else. We sure as heck don't always wanna break out the cutting board for one clove of garlic at my place, and you probably don't either. This is sturdy, basic, and hasn't rusted. (I've gotten SO many 'stainless steel' pieces of junk that rust in the first month, but this isn't one.)What more can you ask of a garlic press?
