Schwalbe Durano Plus Tyre: 700c x 23mm Black Wired. SmartGuard®, Performance Line

I found these marginally trickier to fit than "regular" tyres, (e.g. took a couple of minutes longer than normal).However, once they're on they're great - they take a lot of pumping to get up to working pressure as they pump to a much greater pressure than my previous tyres. Been using them almost daily for the past month or so and they whilst they took a bit of getting used, being firmer than I was expecting they're great tyres, low rolling resistance, good in the wet and most importantly, I have confidence in them to not deflate or puncture. Of course they're never going to puncture proof, but I think they're the closest thing to it.Update. After nearly 4000km of road cycling in-town and the countryside I haven't had a single puncture and am just about to purchase 2 replacements

These are great tyres, swear by them for the daily commute. The only one that has gone on me blew out completely when I rode over a lump of metal (unsurprising). Since using these I never get punctures...only challenge is getting them on your wheels without making a Holbein the inner tube - they're pretty tight fitting!! Fortunately, very they're on you won't need to take them off much.

Great tyre, especially for the cycling commuter. Yes, perhaps a little heavier, but the greater inflation pressure (up to 145 psi with the 23s) negates any rolling resistance issue. Very reassuring to cycle on, and as close to puncture-proof as one would find I'd say.

This my second set of Schwalbe tyres. Touch wood, so far so good. Not had a puncture since I started using them. Not too difficult to get them on either.

had these already, an excellent tyre. no punctures in a year, average 100 miles a week at least. as they get worn they also get a lot of gashes on them which started to then allow some glass etc through. looking forward to another year with no punctures
