I adore this cookbook! It is a very well thought out concept… I mean who doesn’t love all things Toast and Jam! It does go further than that though into crackers, pickles and even relishes. The directions are easy to follow and not intimidating. The layout is perfect. This is a wonderful cookbook to add to your collection. So happy with my purchase.

Favorite cookbook of all times
I am very fond of cookbooks and bread books in particular, and that's why I used to have so many purchased and so few enjoyed. After I moved and couldn't take my books with me I had to start over and save for Tartine didn't want to buy any of the ones I'd had, they were so disappointing. I thought I'd give this one a try and.. holy cow! Almost no presumptuous recipes, definitely no boring ones - all of them written with good thinking and a good heart. You buy one book and you have all you need - bread, jams, pickling. I am over the moon with it! Thank you, Sarah!

Every page of this book is packed with not only useful information but also encouragement and a true excitement for learning about seasonal food and our relationship to the humble loaf of bread. I remember eating a lot of supermarket toast and jelly as a kid and i'm so thankful that I can now celebrate those memories with better food choices and techniques that are more fulfilling. I have fed many family members and friends using Sarah's last book, Sourdough, and now I plan on continuing that tradition with this outstanding guide to toast and jam.

MUST buy for any Jam maker.
This is a MUST have for anyone who has ever made jam! I am in awe over the recipes - the combination of ingredients are spectacular. Even my kids who usually only like basic blueberry are clamoring for the new jams I have made from this book: Cherry, Apple and Almond jam, Spiced Plum jam, and even Tomato Marmalade. The mixture of flavors of each recipe are as gourmet as it gets, yet the recipes are simple and easy to follow.Sarah is a genius!

Spring has finally come and with it lots of plans for making jellies and jams. This book seems to offer some really interesting recipes, for which I'm giving it five stars. I certainly hope my anticipation is correct.

Awesomeness
Sarah is so wonderful. She makes sourdough and bread making doable and her recipes are tantalizing. She's exactly the kind of person I want in my kitchen. I wish I could bake with her.

Great Stuffs
Sarah Owens is fantastic and she is very encouraging and of course full of gifted talent. A good book to have for any future bakers...accidental or by default.
