Beautiful mix of perennials and one annual
This large seed packet has a beautiful mix of perennials and One type of Annual. I don’t know if that Annual is free seeding or not, so I do not know if it will reappear the following year, but all the rest of them should. I have not planted them yet so I cannot speak to the, germination effectiveness of the seeds. The seed packet has a beautiful illustration on the front showing what the flower patch should look like so you can see the various types of flowers in bloom.

Sprouting fast!
I scattered these on loose soil, then coved with about a half inch of soil, make sure to water consistently but don’t flood them lol. It’s been about 2 weeks and I have a full bed of little greens popping up!

lots of green leaves...not a single flower
Argh. I bought the best soil and punched drainage holes in the bottom of several very large pots. I spaced the seeds out evenly and followed the directions to a "T" on when and how much to water. And I definitely live in the area that these are recommended for.6 weeks later I have lots and lots of leaves and yet....not one single bloom among them. My pots all look like they have a bunch of weeds in them instead of beautiful wildflowers. I'm glad these didn't cost much because they aren't worth much. At least the rest of my flowers look nice which I bought from the local plant shop.

Lot of seeds but not sorted
Tons of seeds, haven't tried growing them yet. They aren't sorted or split up though, all jumbled up. Wish I could know which seed is what.

I have had my share of bummer seeds this year but these are NOT one of them..they seem to be growing, plenty of seeds..cant wait to see them grow up.

Non-native
While purchasing, I couldn't easily find in the listing the name of the seeds included in this package. When it arrived and I looked at the list on the package, a few of the included seeds are non native (and some even invasive). It's a good quantity of seeds for the price, but I can't in good faith use invasive seeds

these seeds MUST be planted in potting soil, not sand, or clay soil
I just reread the ad above to confirm I didn't miss it somewhere, but now I'm trying to figure out a new place to try these seeds as where I had planned to plant them, it says plainly on the bag that these seeds will not grow in sand or clay soils. It says these seeds must be planted in black dirt for them to grow, will not grow in sand or clay soil. We don't have any flower beds that are nothing but potting soil, and it gets too hot here in Texas for most plants to thrive in pots. Not what I had envisioned, but I guess I have the winter to figure out where these seeds will go.
