Monument MON2048 Radiator Stepped Wrench and Ratchet,Black & Grey

I purchased this as another option for radiator tail removal and replacement. As mentioned in the headline, it is a big unit. Much larger than I had anticipated but probably quite obvious had I paid attention to the dimensions.The length of the ratchet gives good leverage and the mechanism appears solid. There is no directional lever, instead the tail removal bit needs removing, the ratchet flipped 180 and the bit re-fitting to give the reverse direction.The handle feels cheap, and the finish on the flat face of the bit (pictured) leaves a lot to be desired, but it was half the cost of the big brand alternatives and minus the criticisms over the quality of finish, it does feel solid, and gave me confidence in removing and refitting some very old, and very solid radiator tails. It also made the job a lot faster than using a standard angled removal key. I'm more than happy with this purchase.

Great ratchet and 'socket' for use on specific types of radiator valves. Very sturdy and well made, worth the money.

Essential kit for any plumber. I had a Rothenberger before and this seems just as good.

Feels strong without having the forwards/ revers lever, just remove tool and turn around for clockwise and anti-clockwise,

I only needed the socket section of this set but was cheaper to buy off amazon as a set than the socket from my local wholesaler.Absolute bargain.

Great idea but didn't fit the first rad I went to use it on.
