It's compact
I liked this because it's easy to keep all of the items together to remove any screw or bolt or nut

Good, Basic Extractor Set
This Panovos Set has a good assortment of Extractors for removing bolts – both socket-type extractors for use when the bolt-heads are present but badly rounded and internal extractors for when the bolts are sheared off (aka “easy-outs”). It’s nice to have something like this on hand when doing DIY projects. I used it to remove the mounting bolts on my swimming pool pump – the heads were badly corroded due to leaking pool water, so I used the socket-extractor to get a solid grip on them. Worked perfectly well. Not sure what “Left-hand Drill Bits” means to the manufacturer, but these are standard configuration right-hand bits (= clockwise motion cuts in); If they are indeed cobalt (presumably M35) steel, they should be suitable for drilling steel bolts, although I’ve not tried them yet. The case is a durable plastic construction, but – as seems to be the case with nearly all tools these days – the top of the case is NOT labelled and the sockets will fall out if you open it in the wrong direction. The solution is the same as always – Stick a label on the case to indicate which side is up / top to avoid the aggravation. At this price point, this is a reasonable choice for a DIYer set that you won’t use very often. Professionals who need to use extractors frequently will probably prefer a higher-end set.

Mixed results from this assortment of tools.
Ordered this set because it touts a hearty helping of external and internal extractors and drill bits. As a professional auto technician I get a lot of use of these types of tools and use a variety different brands and models of extractors. The positive: the external extractors are a good selection of sizes and profiles, and have been the best part of the kit, I had a honda civic with ten point spline lug nuts that the customer had lost their specialty socket for and these spiral sockets with the 3/8" drive worked perfectly to remove them. The negative: the "cobalt Left hand drill bits" advertised in the kit don't exist. we received a set of what appears to be high speed steel right hand bits and they are pretty soft and easily discolored when attempting to drill into a pair of flush broken exhaust studs. The acceptable: the spiral flute screw extractors are a bit softer than my Name brand screw extractors but have a more aggressive spiral to them and a more blunt nose on most of them compared to the Irwin set I have, this enables the extractor to get a bite with a shallower drilled hole and if the bolts aren't too tight from rust or other thread fouling issues they can be screwed right out. I just don't get a warm and fuzzy feeling about them. I managed to use one to remove an exhaust stud while my second stud required a harder stronger extractor to turn out.The puzzling: The kit includes a 3/8" square socket drive to 1/4" hex adapter to enable presumably to help use the external spiral sockets onto a small electric impact gun. In theory this might be helpful, but usually if you're regular sockets and a impact driver didn't break a nut or bolt loose or stripped the head you will need to hammer these sockets onto the fastener and use a pull handle as an impact will usually jar the tool too much and make you loose your grip. The adapter bit can be used elsewhere in the shop though. The mildly infuriating: The case the kit comes in has no obvious top or bottom side once the labelled shrink wrap in removed, This matters because the external sockets are simply nestled in the case and if you open it upside down they fall out and go everywhere, I had to install a label on the case to show right side up to keep from dumping tools out 50% of the time.

A GREAT EXTRACTOR SET
This extractor set is complete with drill bits and male extracting tools for bolts broken off near or even with the base such as an engine block. Also included, are stud extractors to remove studs or broken bolts that have enough length to (1" or more) to attach the reversed teeth allowing the extractor to bite into the stud or bolt and remove it counterclockwise. I would suggest use of a penetrating lubricant before using these tools. The penetrating lubricant will penetrate between the bolt threads and the base to make removing the stud or bolt easier. The longer the penetrant is allowed to work and the more applications the easier the broken bolt is to remove. Be careful with the male extractors when trying to extract a bolt to not drill the hole too large which will allow the extractor to push into the bolt and expand the broken bolt wedging it in the base. And, be careful not to break the extractor off in the bolt. If you do then you must remove the extractor because the extractor is harder than a drill bit and cannot be drilled out. Sometimes a cold chisel can be driven into the hole to remove smaller bolts. This helps prevent the bolt from expanding and wedging inside the threads. Another way of removing smaller broken bolts is to use a hacksaw to cut a screwdriver slot in the bolt allowing the use of a screwdriver to remove the broken bolt. This extractor set is a well made and a virtually complete set that will be a handy assistant when removing broken bolts. I would recommend it to be included with your tools.

Cheap China crap
Do not buy this set it doesn’t work properly the extractors do not grab the holes you drill cause they are made out of cheap metal and the drill bits aren’t any better… it I could rate a zero stars I would
