Nicholas Winter Large Weekend/Overnight Holdall Duffle Bag

Fantastic weekend bag with lots of space. I bought this bigger size after buying the smaller size down from it. Great quality at a great price, smart-looking gentleman’s bag.

I bought the smaller Nicholas Winter overnight bag from Amazon but wanted also something a little larger (this one is described as 62x25x39 cm and will easily do a weekend or indeed a stay of a few days). The reason I say "described as" 62x25x39 cm is that I think 62 cm is probably the length at the longest point of the bag, right at the top, if the bag is extended i.e. without clipping the top ends onto the handy poppers a little lower down the side of the bag. This variation in length is certainly not a negative for me, because at the base the length is probably nearer 50 cm -- it is, I have just measured it! -- and what this means is that it would almost certainly be accepted as a cabin bag by most airlines (generally the measurements they accept are 55x40x20 cm). The width here is 25 cm but in my experience they are not concerned about a few cms here or there and this bag is very flexible anyway and easily goes in their measuring cages. Apart from size this is very similar to the smaller Nicholas Winter bag which I also have (the smaller one is 50x21x27 cm). I was interested in a slightly larger but still smart looking bag for a weekend or a few days. It weighs very little when empty and so far, after a few weeks, seems well made, durable and smart looking, just like the smaller bag. Like the smaller one it has a handy very light weight removable base which helps to maintain the shape if there is not much in it. Unlike with the smaller bag, which doesn't have a shoulder strap at all, there is a well made and substantial shoulder strap which clips easily to the sturdy rings at each side of the bag. I've come to the same conclusion as with the smaller bag, which is I really like it and I think it looks a lot more expensive than it is (always a bonus!). I would just like to add that at the time of purchase this was not a Prime offer so was sold and distributed by Rinkit -- the bag came well packed and it was a fully tracked 48 hour delivery so the service from the seller was excellent.

Bought this for my soon. He is thrilled with it. Looks good, roomy and useful. Ordered one for me now!
