This push block is great. It has been a total game-changer for me when using my table saw. it helps guide the wood perfectly through the cut and gives me much better control and safety. It was a great purchase and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to feel more secure while woodworking.

Bought a pair of these, and used one to rip some small strips of 1/4" thick exotics (0.68" wide x about 12" long). Worked great. Of course I could have made a custom push stick just for this project but using the Grr-ripper2 was very easy and I'm glad a picked up a couple (the other is still in bag). I didn't use the color-coded tape because it's really easy just to eyeball whether the push block will clear the blade once the fence is set up. I've heard a few folks comment that they don't like how the block positions your hand directly over the blade as you make the cut, and I can understand that concern, but this felt very secure and let's face it, we need to always be focusing when using our power tools if we want to leave this life with all of our digits intact, and using the Grr-ripper2 feels pretty safe to me, certain safer than other methods that one could use! Recommended.

I'm not new to woodworking, but I still get anxious around table saws and routers. Any safety tool that'll help ease my mind is useful. I like that this MICROJIG design safely controls the board along the fence and over the blade, virtually eliminating my need for push sticks. The minimum rip width is truly encouraging because I'd experienced a painful, but funny kickback lesson early on in my woodworking journey. I feel comfortable letting my kids work on the saw with this block. It has opened up a new dimension to our projects. The price is acceptable because there are several competing designs, but are lacking the qualities that make the MICROJIG tool superior. My only regret is not getting a second block for long pieces of wood. As my confidence grows, I may more seriously consider upgrading to the GR-100 and 1/8" accessory.

I really like the color coordinated sticker. Makes it easy to know where I’m clear. I just purchased the regular sized grr-ripper 2 so I can use the back edge to push board through saw. This version only has contact on top of board so after a couple cuts the sawdust created made it so the green pads have trouble gripping to board. I found myself focusing more on downward pressure. Which makes it difficult to push forward and direction of fence. I’m a complete beginner so it’s possible user error. This is way better than my push stick I got with saw! Excited to try bigger model!

I almost had an accident and decided to give this a try, and I’m glad I did. If you value your fingers, you should have one of these—simple as that. You can never be too safe in the shop. It gives you way more control when pushing material through saws or routers, especially on smaller pieces where your hands would normally be way too close to the blade. The grip is solid, and it holds the workpiece securely without slipping. What really stands out is the confidence it gives you. You’re not second-guessing your hand placement or rushing cuts—you can focus on accuracy and safety at the same time. It’s also versatile and works across different tools, which makes it even more useful. Once you start using it, it becomes second nature. Overall, this is one of those tools that should honestly be in every shop. It’s not just helpful—it’s a safety must-have.

Out of all the power tools, table saws scare the turds out of me the most. Generally push bars can keep your valuable fingers away from catastrophe - but pushing down, through the cut, or against the fence make my blood pressure go up. I feel a lot better with this gripper. You can push any way you want, and it would take a lot of effort to remove a finger while holding this gizmo. It has a lot of green/yellow/red color coding on which direction to orient the tool. But it really isn't needed much if you have some common sense. I much prefer this tool over any push bar, and I use it on most every cut with my table saw.

Would say it's expensive for what it is but what price can you really put on your fingers, this is without doubt a must for all diyers who use table saws it saves fingers

I bought a dewalt table saw and want to be as safe as possible. I like how this push is quite tall, so if anything did happen my hand if further awayu than cheaper options. very grippy
