Eco Beacon Bird Feeder

The birds like this feeder and so do I as it is so easy to refill and the food doesn't get wet as it's got a decent size overhang parasol to protect it.v So far the strong wind has not damaged it. Plus it's made using recycled plastic.Update:- Food does get wet and sticks in a huge lump, We've had so much terrible wind and heavy rain the food did go rotten in this feeder and try as I did to unscrew it to get the huge mass of clumped together sunflower seeds out I couldn't. I did manage to get it apart by forceful pulling. But cannot push it back together as the plastic rod that goes through is not sturdy enough to stay straight, so there's no force. Answer is:-I will try to push a thin piece of strong wire through and hold it at the bottom with a button and at the top just have to take the end down to the tray and secure it there. A bit Heath Robinson, but it will be able to be cleaned without the aggro next time.So they need to make this easy to take apart else bacteria builds up cos you cannot clean it properly without taking it apart. All it needs a a screw facility at the bottom, not a push in connection which you cannot put back. Otherwise a very nice feeder

Nice looking bird feeder - had it for a few weeks but the birds have barely touched the food - so I’d say not really very much good.

Easy to refill, keeps the seed dry so it doesn’t get wet and mouldy like longer feeders. Plenty of feeding room for smaller birds and sturdy enough for a greedy wood pigeon!Every now and then you need to give it a shake though to help larger seed to fill the feeding area.

I really wanted to like this bird feeder - i love the design and the fact its made from recycled plastic. However it does not come apart for cleaning - making it very difficult to clean. But the saddest thing is that the squrrels chew on the relatively soft plastic and have now almost finished eating the seeds AND the feeder. Such a shame as the little birds did seem to like it.

Great idea but birds don't like it - too enclosed a space between roof and feeding
