I got this for installing under a pond liner. It’s good quality👍🏻

I cut it half straight down the middle, sewed the edges together and made my own socks for French drain lines. It went on perfectly. I read the reviews on the premade socks, and the reviews said the material they were made from was too flimsy so I wanted to make my own from better fabric. This fabric was perfect for my project.

Very thick. Much better than what I could buy at a box store

This geotex is very thick even at the 6 oz dimension. It is easy to use, does not tear even with dumped 3/4 stone and actually stands up along the trench wall without much stapling.My only problem is that it’s permeability is very slow. I folded it over at the top and installed a 1” stone layer to prevent driveway sand from clogging the subterranean stone wrap of the pipe. The runoff does not penetrate fast enough for the use. My error. Will have to cut the top and install a 3 oz soil separator layer.
