Lamysafari Medium Nib Fountain Pen - Charcoal Matt Black (Matte Black Pen in Gift Box)

My very first fountain pen! (I have bought another one the same week) I am left-handed and have no troubles writing with this pen. It is wonderful and I write with it every day!The colour is not pure black, it's exactly what it says - charcoal which is not completely black either! I love the matte finish, it is a very smart fountain pen at a very reasonable price. After this, I got another Lamy pen, a different type and it's the same quality. You cannot fault this brand😊

I love pens. And this is my current favourite!Very easy to set up and use. I selected a medium nib and it works for me. Looks and feels great. Very subtle and under the radar but it's my new signature pen.Highly recommend

I suffer from pen-envy - when I noticed a friend with at Lamy I had to have one.. .which I loved and then I gifted this one. It has received glowing reviews and is such a wonderful pen to write with.

Advertised in a gift box but was not provided in the one that was in the photo. A torn thin box instead.

Specific bought this as it said black ink, but it was blue and can not be used for the intended purpose.Gift box is poor quality.

Smart looking pen, writes well & value for money!

The pen is nice to write with although slightly blotchy in ink thickness when writing for a while. And the ink arrived blue not black as advertised. I bought this specifically for the black ink.

Oh my gosh, I love this pen. Granted, it's my second fountain pen - the first being a Sheaffer calligraphy pen from the art supply store... but I'm picky about ergonomics and experiences, so: with Diamine Midnight ink, isn't too wet, dries in a few seconds, easy to refill with cartridges and a converter (get a converter and a bottle of ink.) The black nib is pretty awesome. Glad I picked out Charcoal over blue for me and my groomsmen - looks awesome.

This pen exeded my expectations, it's sleek design is lovely and makes it easy to hold while it's plastic body is light and durable. It is definitely worth the price.

Really Nice! This is perfect as a gift.

It's a decent pen for the price. The Lamy ink that comes with it doesn't dry quickly nor is it moisture proof (it will smear under clammy hands). The pen writes well and the ergonomic grip is FAIRLY comfortable. It's probably the best fountain pen for it's price that I've ever found. I'd still recommend it for people not wanting to spend too much on a writing instrument without knowing a lot about fountain pens. The cartridge was easy to install and has yet to leak. The merchant and shipping were nothing less than professional. That is the reason I've given it four stars.
