So Lite Lightweight Folding Scooter - Mobility Scooters for Seniors - Electric Wheelchairs for Adults (Blue)

We like everything about this scooter.We have a friend that purchased one so we got to try it first and decidedto get the same kind (there are so many brands to choose from)This scooter fits in all three of our vehicles and can be lifted out easily by one or two people.

Runs well on smooth pavement goes slower in grass. Turns easily. My main dislikes so far ( I’ve only ridden once at ballpark) is I’m only 5’4” and I barely have enough leg room. Also I would prefer to be able to let the back of the seat tilt back some.

just don't work scooter is not charging.How do i return it.

My husband needs this for traveling and getting around.. hopefully it will not tip over…The scooter could be larger… my husband is of medium size and his legs just fit.. This will not work for a man with long legs or woman…very light weight

The media could not be loaded.  Love this lightweight scooter.My dad just turned 98 and while he is able to walk with a walker, he gets very tired going short distances. This will open up the world to him when he travels outside of assisted living. I can see us doing things like walking the dog together down our street or on paved paths, going shopping, out to meals and the like.While I don't wish for him to ever stop trying to walk with assistance, I do want to make things easier for him to be able to participate in activities he might otherwise have to avoid.I was impressed with this scooter from the time I read the product description and was only more impressed when I received it.It comes in a rather large box that with packaging weighs about 60 lbs. The scooter itself including the battery comes in at about 44 lbs.It arrived almost completely assembled - just needed to add the seat cushions, cupholder, and accessory bags (accessory bags are nice, roomy and good looking - and attach with snaps + velcro ). There is plenty of storage between these bags, a seatback pocket, wire basket on the floor and a cupholder which can be attached to either side of the armrests.I really liked the quality of the build and styling. The seat was extremely comfortable between the generous removable cushion and the springs in the frame beneath it. The back was equally comfortable - padded with internal contoured support straps beneath it. Both the seat cushion and seat back go on and off with velcro strips.Other great features:- There is a key to turn the unit on and off, a master on/off switch in the back near the battery, and separate a headlight switch and horn button- The front and rear throttles sit behind the rubber handgrips. The front throttle is behind the right handgrip and appears to be variable speed and even when set to the lowest speed setting, had good acceleration and speed. The back throttle is on the left handgrip and includes a back-up alarm.- The horn button produces a beep sound in the same tone as the backup alarm- The turning radius is outstanding - very easy to turn around- The headlight is bright and effective- The unit folds nicely with one button to release and lock the seat and a knob to release and fold the tiller on top of the folded seat and then lock it in place- Once folded, there is a built-in handle to wheel it along it like a rollerboard piece of luggage- There is a release handle below the battery to allow the wheels to roll freely, or engage them for driving- The unit automatically brakes smoothly when the throttles are released- It is very easy to maneuver- The battery can be charged from the battery itself or the port on the tiller- The tiller is adjustable to multiple positions for driving comfort- Both armrests can be raised for easy entry and exit- The design, build quality, fit and finish are excellent. All of the welds look great and clean, the paint body parts are professional and well-done. It looks like the high quality unit that is is.A few minor items:- When folding the unit, the cushions are under some pressure from the tiller that can temporarily depress the vinyl coverings. When storing for any period of time, I would suggest removing the cushions before storing.- The headlight is mounted on a spring and jiggles a little and if the tiller is tilted back, the light aims pretty high. Not a big issue but worth noting.- The manual recommends not charging the battery until it runs low to avoid potential lithium battery memory issues. I did not expect this with modern battery technology.The instruction manual is good. There a LOT of safety points that should be read carefully not ignored to ensure the safety of the driver and those around them.I am looking forward to driving this outdoors and testing the battery life. This scooter is very helpful for those with mobility issues. It is easy to assemble and to fold up for transport, but its light weight also means it's more likely to tilt on tight turns. It says it can accommodate up to 275 pounds but I'm not sure someone that size (or someone very tall) could fit or drive this easily.On the plus side there are two carrying areas as well as a beverage holder, a headlamp and easy-to-use controls. Very good on smooth surfaces.

This is possibly the easiest setup ever. It took longer to depose the packaging than it took to get off and rolling down the road!Outside of the setup, it's immediately noticeable how lightweight and easily stowed into our vehicle. It's well-balanced when lifting from the ground and can be positioned inside the truck or the rear of our Prius, effortlessly...My only issue is when making a tight turn. If traveling too fast, it definitely feels like you can be thrown off. So, in my opinion, caution should be taken when turning at all times...Overall, it is a fantastic scooter that makes my mom's life a bit more enjoyable when out and about on longer distances, such as shopping at those larger warehouse retailers... I also noticed she is more motivated to ride along than to remain at home being she no longer has the anxiety of running out of energy with the rest of us...
