Does not come in contact with food but they do offer the same style in stainless steel.

Q: Does this nozzle handle get extrememly hot when using high temp water?

Hi I use this nozzle for water at a temperature of about 150 to 160 degrees F and the handle gets a little warm but could still hold it all day. It’s a great nozzle. Hope this helps.

Q: how mush does it increase water pressure from a standard residential garden hose?

Quite a lot! Best sprayer I've ever had and well worth the cost
