Galt, Mini Marble Run, Marble Run Construction Kit, Ages 5 Years Plus

My grandson is 5 and has a short attention span. I wanted to get him a marble run because I had one when I was a kid and loved it so thought that he would as well because it can be configured in different ways to keep his attention. While browsing for a set I came across this and thought that it would be ideal because it was only £6.99 and if he wasn't that interested in it then I hadn't spent a lot of money but if he liked it then I would look for a full size set. The set arrived quickly with prime delivery and was packaged nicely in a display box. The actual set itself was a bit disappointing if I'm honest because it is tiny, the small metal ball bearings are smaller than a pea so can be easily lost or swallowed. The actual pieces themselves are good quality and fairly solid but due to the small size he lost interest very quickly. There were no instructions on how to assemble the run just a piece of paper with a picture of the completed run on it.Overall I would say that if your child already has a full size marble run that they want to take with them wherever they go then this would be ideal for them. I would therefore class this as a travel set and as such would get five stars but as it wasn't sold as such I can only give three I'm afraid. If you are looking for a travel set for a caravan or holiday then this is indeed perfect for that.

Bought for my daughter as a stocking filler. She loved it and small enough to play with on our dining table as we don’t have a lot of floor space to set up a larger one. It is small but it didn’t bother her

Cheap £1 toy overpriced

Great and fun toy. The pieces were a bit too small for my daughter, but she loved the colors and was happy. Very fast delivery

The marble run was really small and not strong or sturdy, it wouldn’t stand up it kept collapsing. My 3 year old was not happy at all. Better off spending more money and buying a bigger sturdier one.
