I use these for my homemade deodorant and they work wonderfully. I even messed up on the formulation and had to redo it, and taking it out to reformulate was super easy.

I travel for work, and am constantly looking for ways to keep my gear organized, manageable, and travel sized. My dopp kit has travel sized shampoo, conditioner, shaving equipment, etc.But I could never find the perfect travel size deodorant that was the brand and shape I wanted. So I ordered these and they were perfect. The twisting base comes un-installed and there is a clear cap on the other end. I took my gel deodorant, got some hot water, placed the deodorant in a heavy duty ziplock and submerged it in the water till melted. Then filled up two of these, let them cool and now I have a custom travel size deodorant dispenser.Satisfied customer, would recommend.

this is great for travel, you can bring this small one in place of you full sized deodorant.i filled one while it was resting on the table with the lid and protection lens at the base.i microwaved a bit of my usual deodorant and poured it into the stick. i then waited for it to cool down before touching it again.since it worked out well for me i have used in non-scented deodorant and added my own essential oils fragrance to it. winning!!!
