Excellent product for the price but you have to throw away the instructions if you have a JL. Abandon the standoffs. Those are the aluminum collars that are supposed to provide spacing between the painted body and the tray. There's absolutely no reason to use them and they just increase the opportunity of you screwing up. Instead, remove the rectangular top portion design for the factory rail system. You can put that away as you don't need it at all and no reason to drill through it. However you do have to make two small holes directly opposite the two bottom outermost threaded standoffs on the door. This is pretty easy to do. Put the aftermarket screws in the holes to almost flush level with the panel. Just have them stick out a quarter of an inch. Then coat the heads will you put the screwdriver in with thick grease. Just a dab on each one. You're not going to use it for lubricant. Now position the top part of the black plastic panel you pryed off. Make sure it's perfectly centered. Then swing the bottom down and contact it to the screws. It should not be enough to clip it in as the screws should be preventing it. Now remove it again and you should have two grease marks on the back of the panel from the screw heads. That's where you're going to drill. Drill a 3/8 hole from the inside out right in the center of those Grease marks. Remove the screws and clean them up. Now put the black plastic panel in without that rectangular insert you discarded. Now install the Trey using the four bolts washers and lock washers. You will be able to get the tray flush up against the plastic interior panel. It may be a little difficult to get the bottom screws because of the angle so I recommend maybe using an allen head at the end of a quarter inch driver extension? Either way you can get it in there. Don't torque them down too tight or you'll crack the plastic. That should be it see the pictures. Very flush and professional looking.

I like this foldable shelf. I. Like it a lot. It is well built and designed. It does rattle a little while drive. That’s easily fix with a shop towel placed between the shelf panels when they are in the storage position. The unit is made from heavy gauge stamped steel. It has a thick black power coating. When folded down. The shelves are supported with plastic coated guy-wires. The also storage shelf comes with replacement guy-wires, just in case. Installation can be performed in under 30 min. The kit comes with everything needed to install the shelves on either a JK or JL. Though instructions are very vague. For a 2021 JL it’s just a matter of drilling four holes in the tailgate door panel at the appropriate locations. All four were very easy to find. My only problem during installation was the kit included one long spacer and three short spacers. Two of each ar required for a JL installation. Fortunately, I had a small spacer that was the right size to make up the different in length. When folded up, this unit is very thin and takes up very cargo space. Much less space than I expected. Despite the mixup with the spacers. I can still recommend this storage/foldable table unit. The price is affordable and the shelf system will be very useful when out on the trail.

Product is well built and well packaged for shipping. Arrived with full color instructions. Fits both JK and JL models. I installed this on a 2016 JK Inlimited Rubicon. Installation was straightforward and required no drilling. You will need a few additional tools such as 3 mm Allen wrench, 10 mm socket,ratchet and adjustable wrench. Installation took less than 30 minutes. My biggest concern before ordering was rattling when driving but it is well put together and has bumpers in strategic places that hold everything in place. I'm not sure why I waited so long to purchase one of these definitely comes in handy on the trails.

No drilling required, which was what really sold me. I had previously tried another shelf that was "bolt on direct fit for JKU" and it wasn't, so I was a little nervous about this one. Pretty easy install, about 20 mins. The bottom right mounting bolt gave me a little difficulty, I'm assuming something is blocking the bolt from sitting perfectly vertically. This works really well when paired with a glass mounted LED strip as pictured, creates a nice little station for your overlanding needs. Also some people were worried about a rattle with this, the dual latches keep it tensioned very well and I don't hear anything over your standard Jeep noises.

Great item, but lacked a little. First I have a JL, so i took the cover off the gate and found the drill points easily. When I put the cover back on and inserted the plastic sleeve bushings, only one was longer but two longer ones were needed to make the shelves even. So i had to find a nut to add to one of the short sleeves that made up the length difference and then attached it with electrical tape to stay in place. Thankfully I fond one that fit the bill. Once everything was installed, the unit fit well. One small thing, the top shelf was hanging at an angle. Photos included. So i'll have to figure out a way to make that small shelf hang even. So, for the price I guess it's ok. I will say it is well built and heavy.

I was torn between giving the EOIS Tailgate Table Rear Foldable Cargo Shelf 4 or 5 stars. I really liked the end result of the installation, but after adding up all the annoyances of installation and the clear misrepresentation of it being aluminum, I decided on four stars. I installed the unit in a Jeep JLU 2024 Rubicon. The Good: -- I really like the unit as a whole. It's compact, folds up nicely, and does not rattle when driving. -- The latches are very secure and strong. -- The molle pattern is excellent, and it is the main reason I purchased this one. I hang Molle bags off of it, and these lay underneath when the shelf is deployed. This provides a very efficient use of space in the back of a Jeep JLU. See picture -- It's offset from the rear panel. See picture. I was concerned that it would rub against the Jeep's plastic rear panel, but while measuring for the mysterious longer spacer, I realized that the panel is actually offset about 1/4", leaving a gap between the shelf and the Jeep's door panel, which is great. -- The Jeep's rear door panel needs to be removed, and it is very easy to do so. With a little gentle prying with a plastic tool, the panel just pops out and then easily pops right back in. -- A 1/2 inch drill worked fine for the holes vs the stated mm size in the instruction that needed to be drilled in the Jeep panel. The Bad: -- NOT ALUMINUM: The seller claims this is aluminum allow in the web page description. It is too heavy to be aluminum, and testing with a magnet, as shown in the attached video, confirms it is made from steel. The only aluminum used is the four spacers used to attach the steel shelf to the Jeeps rear door. -- Very poor instructions. Someone handy and understanding of working on a Jeep should only attempt this install as you will have to figure out some things on your own due to the poor-quality instructions. -- They provide one spacer much longer than the other three! Why? It must be a mistake. After much measuring, we determined all the spacers should be the same size and hacksawed the long one to match the others. This is really poor execution on the EOIS part. -- The top shelf is not level, and there is no easy adjustment. It tilts down. -- After some discovery, we found that the holes to be drilled were already marked with dimples on the inside of the plastic door panel. It would have helped if there was more information in the instructions and pictures. We marked these locations with blue tape in the picture. Some hints in the instructions for this would have been very helpful.

A lot easier to install than I was expecting. For some reason one of the standoff's is shorter than the others.. washers filled the gap. The cover has markings on where to drill.. I didn't have any issues with rattling and i have the Alpine setup.

Nice product. Good materials, stainless steel bolts. Video/Instructions are helpful but miss several points: On the JL, the extra long bushing is for the lower left corner. If you don't have a 13 mm drill bit, standard drill bits are 1/2" & 5/8th, use 1/2" for the 13 mm holes. Then need to angle route the drill bit for proper fit. Instead of measuring location for holes, look for the factory markings on the back of the Mopar panel. It is an easy install.

Honestly Im pretty impressed with the build quality. Instructions arent great for a JL but its not that hard to figure out. Amazed it doesnt rattle when driving offroad. Sturdy enough to hold a few cases of beverages. The steel and paint is also pretty good!

Jeep Wrangler Jk 2011 70th Edition Kofferraumklappe geht wegen dem Subwoofer nicht zu. Musst ihn ausbauen. Montage selbsterklärend und relativ einfach. Robustes Material. Die Schnappverschlüsse neigen leider zur Schwergängigkeit, Gefahr die Finger zu quetschen. Die Fangseile verklemmen sich komisch zwischen dem Tisch und der Halterung. Verbesserungspotential. War leider über der Rücksendefrist, sonst hätte ich ihn nicht behalten.

Fitted to UK Jeep JK 07 and it was really straightforward and works very well. Very pleased so far!

This was a nice quick and easy install that didn’t require any drilling on a Wrangler JKU. It feels quite sturdy and doesn’t rattle at all. You can open both shelves or leave the top one down if you need the height on the bottom one. Doesn’t intrude into rear storage.
