Replace Anyway, Better Quality Comfort and Sound
I ordered these to replace my flaking out ear pads for my Sony headphones. Once I got them on, and put them over my head, it completely changed the feel of them. Then when I started listening to music, the sound quality was greatly improved. Based on these two things, I'd recommend replacing the factory ear pads even before they need to be replaced.Also I first thought that they were too small for my headphones, but they are very stretchy and I stretched the part that's supposed to hold them in, and then they were much easier to put on. Still difficult, but well worth the effort.

They fit old Amazon Basic headphones
Years ago I purchased some wired Amazon Basics headphones. The headphones are still great but the earpads began disintegrating rather rapidly in the last few months. I decided to purchase these earpads as a replacement. They fit perfectly. They're definitely cooling although I didn't choose them for that reason. Installation was exactly as expected, which isn't really easy but certainly not any more difficult than any other brand. The stitching in a few spots looks a bit weak but since I don't take the earpads off until they wear out, I don't think it will be an issue. I wasn't expecting these to be noise cancelling but when I tried the headphones on after installing the earpads I was surprised to find that the loudest noise I could hear was my own heartbeat (didn't have them plugged into my computer). Although these pads are much thicker than the original ones they felt pretty comfortable for the brief time I tried them before writing this. I suspect I'll need a break after a few hours though.

Fits my Sony MDR-ZX220BT perfectly
Very easy to install. Had my apprehension, but the product quality amazed me. The cushions feel premium. The price is worth it.
