Since the very beginning, JB has been a standout. His style, ability and creativity have constantly put him a cut above his peers. His performances are nothing short of stunning. While Joe has a plethora of live recordings, none of them are really ever the "same thing" and this recording clearly demonstrates that Joe isn't rehashing the old. I really enjoyed his Ryman performance of his "Royal Tea" and I had great anticipation while waiting for this to arrive.This is current day Joe Bonamassa, kicking ass and taking names and doing a live version of his recently released "Time Clocks" album. The studio masterpiece is re-done in new live versions that aren't exact duplicates of those songs. Every one of these songs sounds remarkable in their live versions.Joe has changed a few members of his band, retained some from past versions, and everyone on the stage is a master of their craft. The background singers get a special nod and their voices really highlight each song.10 live tracks covering the Time Clocks album, but the DVD is the real value here. Entertainment dollars are hard to come by these days and concert tickets for top rated stars are still expensive, so having a live concert video that you can watch over and over is a genuine plus. The recording is amazing and the entire show is everything you could hope for. There's no filler material, no long, boring intros, just foot to the floor blues rock with an outstanding visual that is almost like being there.If you are reading this you are no doubt a fan of JB, so you know what to expect from his live performances and this CD/DVD (BR) will not disappoint. The music is DTS-HD quality that sounds amazing to me and I loved every second of this live recording.

I really enjoyed the blu ray concert: one of the best I've ever seen. I would have appreciated a closed captioned option to better understand the lyrics and dialog. It's a bit difficult for those of us that are unfamiliar with the songs to fully appreciate the performance. Also, the CD doesn't include all the songs. A 2-CD set would have been nice. However, this is a fantastic concert. Joe is probably the best blues/rock performer ever. Recommended to everyone.

I'm a true blue JB lover. I've seen him in concert, have a large collection of his music. If you've seen, or just heard him, you know what I mean when I say his music is tremendous. His knowledge of the guitar he's playing at the time (he changes between songs, depending upon what he wants us to hear); it's like they were made for each other. His talents are so well honed, that his work on the fret leaves spectators speechless. He has played with the biggest guitarists, and he has played solo. This album takes me back to his earlier "rock" days, like Dust Bowl, Time Clocks. Strict blues were left unplayed. Music on this album is new and different, all the while harkening back to Dust Bowl. Rich tones, blaring strings, his band is as tight as a rubber band around a watermelon!! He's brought back the throbbing hard rock beats and the screaming strings, but all done like a perfectly grilled Tbone steak, crisp fries and cool tossed salad. It all works!! Viva! JB Bravo Joe!! The video is a real treat. I love watching the close ups of his hands, and watching them dance and slide. This duo is a must buy is you like Joe.

Wonderful LP,would buy again

Best guitarist and blues performer. He started playing the guitar at age 2 or 3 and opened for BB King at age 12. He is an unsung performer to say the least. Haven't heard a cd of his I didn't replay many times. One of his best performances is Joe Bonamassa Live at Royal Albert Hall. Wow! Sizzle!
